JOURNEY OF FAITH
Day Two
Morning by morning You hear my voice, Abba Father! Morning by morning I lay my requests before You and wait in joyful expectation, with an excited anticipation! Because of Your great mercy, I come into Your house! In reverence I bow down toward Your Holy Temple. Let all who run to You for safety and security be glad! As for myself, I will ever sing for joy! Spread Your protection over me, Father! Those who love Your Holy Name will ever rejoice in You! For surely You bless the righteous, Father! You surround me with Your favor as with a shield!
From the depths of my heart, from the deepest recesses of my soul, thank You, Father! You are so good; Your love endures forever! In my anguish I cry out to You, and You answer by setting me free! You are always with me, Father; I shall never be afraid! What can anyone do to me? You are always with me, Father; You are my helper! I look in triumph upon my enemies! Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous! Your right hand does mighty things, Father! Your right hand is lifted high! Your right hand does mighty things! “These are the words of Him Who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands: I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for My name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: you have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. But you have this in your favor: you hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, who use their positions within the church to set themselves up as a priestly class to lord it over the members, which I also hate. “These are the words of Him Who is the First and the Last, Who died and came to life again. I know your afflictions and your poverty…yet you are rich! I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the Devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life! He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches and each of their members. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.”

“These are the words of Him Who has the sharp, double-edged sword. I know where you live…where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to My Name. You did not renounce your faith in Me, even in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness, who was put to death in your city…where Satan lives. Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: you have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality, compromising with the ways of the world and entering into unlawful unions with them, thereby acting as destroyers of My people. Likewise you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Repent, therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches and each of their members. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.”

“These are the words of the Son of God, Whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. Nevertheless, I have this against you: you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads My servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols, drawing them away into spiritual harlotry and abomination. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am He Who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets (I will not impose any other burden on you): Only hold on to what you have until I come. To him who overcomes and does My will to the end, I will give authority over the nations…’He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery’…just as I have received authority from My Father. I will also give him the morning star. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches and each of their members.” [Revelation 2:1-29]

If only you would know in the depths of your soul, if only you would just fully embrace, the greatness of My Love I have lavished upon you…that the most intense desire of My heart is to gather you to Myself as one of My Own children, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings. That is the depth of My love for you.

AWESOME POWER OF GOD

IT IS MY WORK, NOT YOURS
My beloved child…I Myself am both the God Who Personally does the work, and the One Who brings about the results revealed by My Holy Spirit. It is My work, not yours; the results belong to Me, not to you.
You may confidently proclaim, and know beyond the shadow of any doubt it is true: Doubtless Thou art our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: Thou, O LORD, art our Father, our Redeemer; Thy Name is from everlasting. [Isa 63:16]
Yet: A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a Father, where is the honor due Me? If I am a Master, where is the respect due Me?” says the LORD Almighty. [Mal 1:6]
Unless God comes down “as the melting fire burneth, to make His Name known to His adversaries,” your labors are comparatively fruitless and of no avail. Unless the Lord build the house, you labor in vain who build it.
WAITING ON GOD INDISPENSABLE
You must wait upon God, My beloved child; you must cry with a cry that never rests, “Oh that Thou wouldest rend the Heavens, that Thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at Thy Presence!” [Isa 64:1-2]
You must desire and believe, you must ask and expect, that God will do unlooked-for things! You must set your faith on a God of Whom men do not know what I have prepared for them that wait for Me. Your wonder-working God, Who can surpass all your expectations, must be the God of your confidence! You must enlarge your heart to wait upon your God as One Who can do exceedingly abundantly above what you could ever ask or even think!
And therefore will the LORD wait, that He may be gracious unto you, and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you; blessed are all they that wait for Him! [Isa 30:18]
Child of God! Look at the ministries that are being carried out “in My Name;” how much it is in the wisdom of man and literary culture, and how little in demonstration of My Spirit and of Power!
Look at the unity of the body; how little there is of the manifestation of the power of a Heavenly love binding My children into one.
Look at holiness; how little the world sees of the holiness of My Divine Son Jesus reflected in My children.
Look at Christ-like humility and crucifixion to the world; how little the world sees in My children, who are set apart to be mirrors of the Almighty, the life of Christ My Son in Heaven and in whom Christ My Son and Heaven lives.
Unless God comes down “As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make Thy name known to Thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Thy Presence!”…all your labors are fruitless and of no avail! Have you never yet understood?
In the power of your flesh…reliance upon your human capabilities and capacities, by your own efforts and in your own strength, according to your own wisdom, knowledge, and understanding…you are hopelessly powerless, hopelessly impotent, hopelessly helpless, to do anything that is good or pleasing or acceptable to God.
LIVING OUT OF THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Abba Father…I know that the Eternal Power and Eternal Worth of the Blood of Your Divine Son Jesus has guaranteed and secured that Your Holy Spirit was indeed given as Your Eternal Gift to dwell in me…never to leave me, never to forsake me…and that I am to live my everyday life out of the Power of Your Holy Spirit and not out of the power of my sin-enslaved human nature. I acknowledge I am to give Him free reign to place me where I am to be, lead me where I am to go, show me what I am to do to participate together with Him in His work, give me the thoughts I am to think and present, the words I am to speak or write.
But Father, how do I know whether the service I am being prompted to engage in for You is the leading of Your Holy Spirit and not the leading of my human spirit? This is one of the greatest dangers that I am asking You to protect me from…the danger of embracing a thought to engage in service for You where the origin of the thought is my human spirit and not the prompting of Your Holy Spirit.
The danger is that I would be inclined to make a decision according to the leading of my flesh to proceed with this work, asking You to stop me if it is not Your will for me. In other words…I haven’t heard at all from You, Father; I haven’t had any leadings nor promptings of the Holy Spirit to do this work. I haven’t been in prayer inquiring about this work, whether doing this work is Your will for me. But I have decided to proceed anyway…so, stop me if You don’t want me to do this. Forbid it, Father, that I should ever have this attitude!
Keep it ever clear before me: I am not to proceed…with anything…unless You lead me by Your Holy Spirit to specifically do so. No matter how good the ministration I am thinking of doing is…I know I am NOT to proceed with doing it without Your Spirit showing me plainly, clearly, beyond the shadow of any doubt to do so!
Enable me by the Power of Your enabling grace to watch for You and wait before You, look off unto You and listen for Your voice…
- Confirming to me that the origin of my thought is the prompting of Your Holy Spirit and not the prompting of my human spirit.
Where did this thought come from?
Is it a desire of my flesh, a longing of my flesh, to satisfy a selfish motive, a self-serving agenda, a desire to gain something for myself?
Is the thought from Satan…a distraction, a deception, an attempt to draw my heart away from the good works and Your will You have planned in advance for me to do?
Your Divine Son Jesus said, “I only do what My Father shows Me to do; I only speak the words My Father gives Me to speak.” - Confirming to me that the purpose for my doing this is obedience to Your clearly revealed will in this matter.
Am I doing it to fulfill a responsibility of a ministry You have given me, Father, in accordance with Your plans, purposes, and will as revealed to me by Your Holy Spirit? Or is it a responsibility resulting from my own self-life, self-interests, self-will…according to the plans, purposes, and will of my flesh?
Then Jesus said, “Here I am, I have come…it is written about Me in the scroll. I desire to do Your will, O My God; Your Law is within My heart. Not My will, but Thy will be done.” - Confirming to me that the authority for my proceeding to do this is the leading of Your Holy Spirit to do so.
Who gave me the go-ahead to proceed, to put this thought into action? Under whose authority am I going to proceed? Is the leading of Your Holy Spirit the authority behind my proceeding to do this work, or is it the leading of my flesh?
Your Divine Son Jesus said, “I only do what My Father shows Me to do; I only speak the words My Father gives Me to speak.” - Confirming to me that the power for this ministration is the Power of Your Holy Spirit, given to me for the purpose of fulfilling this responsibility.
As I proceed in doing this, in carrying out this thought into action, in accomplishing what I have set out to do…whose power am I relying upon to do it…the Power of the Spirit, or the power of the flesh? Is what I am doing the ministration of the Spirit, in the Power of the Spirit? Or is it the ministration of the flesh, in the power of the flesh…relying upon my human capabilities and capacities, my own efforts and strength, my own wisdom, knowledge, and understanding?
Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? [Gal 3:3]
- Working in me a godly motive for doing this…to bring glory, honor, and praise to Your Holy Name.
What is my motive…the motivation behind my service? Is it my desire to bring glory, honor, and praise to Your Name, Father? Or is it to call attention to myself…to obtain glory and honor for myself…fishing for the praise of men?
Jesus declared, “He who speaks on his own authority seeks to win honor for himself. He whose teaching originates with himself seeks his own glory. But He Who seeks the Glory and is eager for the honor of Him Who sent Him…He is true; and there is no unrighteousness or falsehood or deception in Him.” - Working in me a manner that is well-pleasing to You in going about fulfilling this responsibility.
Am I doing it with a good, cheerful attitude and a sweet disposition? A bad, begrudging attitude and a sour disposition? May the God of peace…Who through the Blood of the Eternal Covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep…equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in you what is well-pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be Glory forever and ever.
CONFIRMATION OF THE SPIRIT
Abba Father…I know beyond the shadow of any doubt that if my proceeding with a ministration is the result of…
an unwavering child-like trust in Your will for me,
an unreserved child-like dependence upon the Power of Your Holy Spirit, and
an unquestioning child-like obedience to the leading of the Spirit…
the confirmation of the truth that it is indeed Your work and not mine will be…
an unruffled child-like rest and
an unclouded child-like carefree joy.
My soul will be peaceful and calm, tranquil and unruffled.
My beloved child…you will know in your spirit, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that I have indeed called you to a particular ministration as My messenger, My ministering spirit, My watchman, My prophet…by the confirmation of My Holy Spirit within you:
- My Holy Spirit will open doors for you that no man can shut, and the waters will be parted before you to open the way through.
- You will have the anointing of My Holy Spirit upon you, giving you capabilities and capacities beyond what you physically have. It will be so evident that you will exclaim in wonder, “Whoa, Lord; this is not me, this is You!”
- You will hear the voice of the Lord, or clearly sense My leading, “This is the way; walk ye in it.”
- You will experience that what I call you to do, I also will enable you to do. My Holy Spirit will give you Divine wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in what you are called to do.
- You will become the target of Satan’s fury, as he endeavors to fill your mind and your thoughts with distractions so as to lead you away from focusing on the work I have given you to do.
Satan will endeavor to fill your mind and your thoughts with deceptions, so as to mislead you with lies and counterfeit leadings of the Spirit.
He will endeavor to draw your heart away from the Holy of Holies with attractions and affections that compete with your attraction to Me, and your affection for Me. - You will be filled with the Holy Spirit and experience an exuberant joy in the Lord, testifying to My Name and speaking the Word of God boldly.
- You will experience the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in your life…singing songs, hymns, spiritual songs, and making melody in your heart to God.
- You will experience prayer, in accordance with God’s will, moving the hand of God, and
- you will experience the blessings of obedience and faithfulness that come from the leading of the Spirit in your life. I will show you My Glory; you will see it with your own eyes, and you will have occasion to testify to My great Name and mighty Power.
I WILL SHOW YOU MY GLORY
My Father’s ear is attentive to the voice of His child, and He loves to give His child little tokens of His Divine Love whenever my requests are within the framework of His plans, His purposes, His will. Scripture tells me, “You have not because you ask not…or you ask with wrong, selfish motives.”
My Father loves to show His child His Glory…that I may see it with my own eyes, and thereby have occasion to testify to His great Name and mighty Power. I have testified to it continually, and I will do so again:

Beloved…be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit. Be alertly waiting for your master’s return from the wedding feast, so you may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those whom the master finds ready when he comes. You also, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect! [Jesus…Luke 12:35-37, 40]
When our God shall come, even Christ, to set up His Kingdom on the Earth…a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. Only the redeemed will walk there, and the ransomed of the Lord will return. We will enter Zion with singing, our heads crowned with everlasting joy! Gladness and joy will overtake me, forever free from sorrow and grief! [Isa 35:8-10]
Brothers and sisters in Christ…
In that soon coming Day of the Lord…Men’s hearts will be failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the Earth: for the powers of Heaven shall be shaken. When God spoke from Mount Sinai His voice shook the Earth, but now He makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the Earth but the heavens also.” This means that the things on Earth will be shaken, so that only eternal things will remain. When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. [Heb 12:26-27; Luke 21:26, 28]
The Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire. In that day, the Earth will burn as an oven. Everything in the physical, material realm will be burned up…EVERYTHING; nothing will remain.
Beloved…keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: if the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. [Jesus…Matt 24:42-44]
Beloved…sow for yourselves righteousness and reap the fruit of My unfailing love! Break up the fallow ground within your heart! For it is time to seek Me, the Lord, until I come and shower righteousness upon you! Look off unto Me and My strength; seek My face and My Presence continually! Those who know My Name will trust in Me, for I have never forsaken those who seek Me! [Triune God…Hos 10:12; Ps 105:4; 9:10]
At that time the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and did not take extra oil with them. The wise, however, took extra oil in jars along with their lamps, and so were ready for his coming. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour. [Jesus…Matt 25:1-13]
In that great and terrible Day of the Lord, Father, Your Divine Son Jesus will manifest the fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God against all those upon the Earth who stand in rebellion to His Throne, and He will destroy all those upon the Earth who are enemies and usurpers of His rule and authority, until He has placed every one of His enemies under His feet. Then in that Day, Your will, Father, will be done on Earth even as it is in Heaven. [Heb 1:8-13; Isa 13:6-9; Joel 1:15; 2:11, 31; Zep 1:18; 2 Pet 3:10; 1 Cor 15:24-26; Matt 6:9-10]
Beloved…continually wash your robes in the Blood of Jesus; wash your garments that have been soiled with sin, making them clean again, dazzling and white. Wash your feet with pure water; wash the dust of sin off your feet. Continually and diligently do these things, that you may always abide with Me in the Holy of Holies, in My unclouded Presence. [Rev 19:7-9]
These are the days of the separation of the wheat from the chaff. I [John] baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come One Who is more powerful than I, Whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will clear His threshing floor, gathering His wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire. “Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty.
“Not a root or a branch will be left to them.” [Matt 3:11-12; Mal 4:1-2]
But also in those days there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves. They will subtly and cleverly teach their destructive heresies about God, even denying the Sovereign Lord Who bought them. Theirs will be a swift and terrible end. Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of them, Christ and His true way will be slandered. In their greed they will make up clever lies and cunning arguments to get hold of your money. With eyes full of adultery, their lust is never satisfied. They make a game of beguiling and luring unstable people into sin. They train themselves to be greedy; they are doomed and cursed. But God condemned them long ago, and their eternal misery is on the way. [2 Peter 2:1-3, 14]
And so, my brothers and sisters, first of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. Even so…The Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire. Since everything on the Earth will be destroyed in this way, you ought to live a holy and godly life as you look forward to the coming Day of the Lord! Everyone who has this hope purifies himself, just as He is pure. So, beloved, since you are expecting these things to happen, be eager to be found by Him at His coming living a pure and blameless life and at peace… in serene confidence, free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts. Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked persons. I don’t want you to lose your own secure footing. But grow in the special favor and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He Who called you is Holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am Holy.” [2 Peter 3:3, 10-12, 14, 17; 1 John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:14-16]
This is what the Most Holy, Most High, Triune God declares:
No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. [Matt 24:36-39, 42-44]
“Behold”, says the Lord Jesus in His last warning for the last opportunity offered to mankind to be among His redeemed, “I come for the last time like a thief in the night to gather those who would be among the elect! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, in watchfulness, prayer and readiness for the summons when it comes, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed, eternally without remedy.”
PREPARE YOURSELF
We are in the Last Days; time is moving very quickly, and we are drawing near! And so, my brothers and sisters, first of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ He promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of Creation.”
Son of man, you’ve heard that proverb they quote in Israel: Time passes, and prophecies come to nothing. Tell the people, This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will put an end to this proverb, and you will soon stop quoting it. Now give them this new proverb to replace the old one: The time has come for every prophecy of Mine to be fulfilled! [2 Peter 3:3-4, 10-12, 14, 17; 1 John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:14-16; Ezek 12:22-23]
God is calling a holy remnant to Himself…to personal revival…a holy remnant of His children who will not bow down, who will not shrink back, who will not compromise, who will remain steadfast and immovable in their commitment to follow the Lamb whithersoever He goes. God’s holy remnant is called to a life of obedience and suffering, self-sacrifice and self-denial…to walk along the path that Christ Jesus dedicated for us, and to follow in His footsteps as our Forerunner. You cannot become part of My holy remnant without being willing to sacrifice your desire for anyone & all others, and for anything & all else this world has to offer. Obedience is what characterizes the life of My child…obedience continually and unceasingly day and night. You are called to a life of obedience. Obedience is better than sacrifice; rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as evil as worshiping idols. [1 Sam 15:22,23]
Wherefore brethren, having now boldness to enter into the Holiest by the Blood of Jesus, by the way which He dedicated for us…a new and living way to God through the veil, that is to say, through the veil of His flesh…let us then without further hesitation or delay draw nigh in fullness of faith; here let us continually abide in the fullness of faith. [Heb 10:19-20, 22] Those who abide in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [PS 91:1]
Arise My bride, and prepare to see My Face
Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
Then the angel said to me, “Write this down: Blessed are those summoned to the marriage banquet of the Lamb…all true believers who are members of His Universal Church. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with Power and great Glory. And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect…God’s holy people…from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” And he said to me further, “These are the True Words of God.” [Rev 19:9]
Blessed Jesus…I rejoice and shout triumphantly for joy! I celebrate and ascribe to You glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb draws near, and Your bride, the Universal Church and each of her members, has been preparing herself and has made herself ready! [Rev 19:7] Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! For our Lord God, Sovereign All-Ruler, reigns! Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him Glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. The finest linen, dazzling and white, was given her to wear. The washing of one’s robes and the keeping of one’s garments relates to this very attitude and habit of looking for the return of Christ as an imminent event. Brethren, as you hope to walk those golden streets, and eat of those immortal fruits, see to it that you have your garments clean and your loins girded about like unto men waiting for their Lord. Then the king said to his servants, “The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.” So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing a wedding garment. “Friend,” he asked, “How did you come in here without putting on the appropriate wedding garment?” The man was speechless. Then the king told the attendants, “Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are invited and summoned, but few are chosen.” [Matt 22:8-14]
ENDURE TO THE END
Behold, I am coming quickly. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will deprive you of your crown. Everyone who overcomes by means of their faith…I will make a pillar in the Sanctuary of My God. Never again will you leave it. I will write on you the name of My God and you will be a citizen in the city of My God…the new Jerusalem…which will come down out of Heaven from My God; I will also write on you My Own new name.
