Christ’s joy was a joyful expectation, an excited anticipation, in the blessings that were to be His…and with His heart fixed on those blessings, He patiently endured the adversity necessary to appropriate those blessings…the cross…heedless of its shame. [Father God…Heb 1:2-3; 6:19; 7:26-28]
