My beloved child…because you have set your love upon Me, therefore I will deliver you. I will set you on high, because you trust in My name. When you call upon Me, I will answer you. I will be with you in trouble; I will rescue you and honor you. I will reward you with long life and show you My salvation. [Triune God…Ps 91:14-16]
** **, greatly beloved…faith is the living out of your life in a manner that bears witness to the truth of what you say you believe. What you believe in your mind is not faith until you have acted in reliance upon that belief. Faith is an action that bears witness to your unwavering child-like trust in Me, your unreserved child-like dependence upon Me, and your unquestioning child-like obedience to do My will, and to accept My will. Living out the life of faith, as set forth by these 3 tenets of genuine faith, is the only means of entrance into the Holy of Holies, and the only means of continually abiding there in the inaccessible Light of the Glory of My unclouded Presence all the days of your life. No matter how fierce the storms raging in your life may be, the confirmation in your spirit that you are abiding with Me in the Holy of Holies will be your unruffled child-like rest and your unclouded child-like carefree joy.
You will never know the quality of your child-like trust, precious son/daughter, until you are in the fire, beset by a fiery trial testing your faith. It’s easy to say you trust the Lord when all is well…but when you’re in the fire, do you trust Me then? It is there where you learn, or fail, to embrace the words, “Father, I don’t understand…but I trust You. I know that You are the Sovereign All-Ruler over all Creation, and that You Personally cause, or specifically, consciously, and deliberately allow all things…all for Your Own good purposes. All that You do is necessarily the very best, very kindest, most loving thing that can possibly be for me. And although I don’t understand, yet even so, I trust You… that You do indeed make all things work together for my good. [Rom 8:28] I will trust, and not be afraid. I will be strong and of a good courage; I will not be afraid, neither will I be dismayed. For the Lord my God is with me whithersoever I go. [Jos 1:9]
Beloved child, I have not promised that your faith will free you from difficulty and danger. It would be as easy for God to prevent the enemy from coming against you as to give you the victory over him. To do this, however, would be infinite loss. Faith would never be called into exercise, and My children would never learn to know either your God or yourself as My child. Without trials there would be no school of faith, no growth of spiritual character, no strength of will given up to God and clinging to Me. Every trial accomplishes a double purpose: It gives you the opportunity of honoring God by the trust with which you wait upon Me; it gives God the opportunity of showing how faithful I am in watching over My child, and how truly I am working for you and in you. Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps His promise, and He will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, He will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out. [1 Cor 10:13]
Abba Father…because of Your steadfast love for me, I know there is nothing You would ask of me…to be for You or to do for You, to learn of You or just, perhaps, to suffer because it is part of Your plans, Your purposes, Your will for me…that would be unreasonable, or too much to ask. And so, it no longer matters to me where You place me, or how…whether in serious perplexity, or in positions of great difficulty, or in circumstances of great pressure and trial; whether You place me at all, or when; where You lead me to go, or what You show me to do. That is rather for You to consider than for me. For in the easiest position, still, You must give me Your grace, and in the most difficult, Your grace is more than sufficient. It is enough for me, knowing that You know why You place me where I am…whether to do, or to learn, or just, perhaps, to suffer. It no longer matters to me what I do or what I suffer. All that matters is that You keep my heart lovingly and joyfully joined with Your will. I know that if You place me in serious perplexity, You will give me much guidance; in positions of great difficulty, much grace; in circumstances of great pressure and trial, much strength. I have no concern that Your resources might prove to be unequal to the emergency…and Your resources are mine, for You are mine and are with me, and dwell in me, and have promised never, never to leave me, never, ever to forsake me…assuredly not. “Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?” Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” [Dan 3:15-18]
O Lord…my soul waits upon You, with a joyful expectation, an excited anticipation! You are my Help, my Shield of protection! My heart rejoices in You, for I have an unwavering child-like trust in Your Holy Name! May Your unfailing love rest upon me, O Lord, even as I have put my sure hope in You! [Ps 33:20-22] Hallelujah!
Friends, brothers and sisters…
There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell. You must be a born-again child of God. I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom. I tell you the
truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the
Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]
If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”
