My beloved child…the only way you can remain in My promised rest is by your unwavering child-like trust in My Love and My Sovereignty over all Creation, your unreserved child-like dependence upon the leading of My Holy Spirit, and your unquestioning child-like obedience to My will as the very best, very kindest, most loving thing that can possibly be. [Father God…John 14:26-27]
** **, greatly beloved, whenever and wherever My Holy Spirit leads and guides you… placing you where you are to be, leading you where you are to go, showing you
what you are to do to participate with Him in His work, giving you the thoughts you are to think and present, the words you are to speak or write…He always gives you His enabling grace to be able to do His will. In the power of the flesh, you are hopelessly powerless, hopelessly impotent, hopelessly helpless to do anything that is good or pleasing or acceptable to God. In the Power of My indwelling Holy Spirit, Who gives you the Power of His enabling grace, you can do all things through Christ Who strengthens you. [Phil 4:13] He gives you the Power of His enabling grace; it is your responsibility to cooperate with the Power He gives you, stepping out in faith to do what He calls you to do. You know full well, My child, that in the power of your flesh…within the limitations of your human capabilities and capacities…you are not able to do it. Even so, faith tells you that My Holy Spirit will enable you to do the seemingly impossible…for His strength is sufficient for your weakness. What He calls you to do He also empowers you to do.
Abba Father…whatever You allow to touch my life today, enable me by the power of Your enabling grace, first of all to respond by immediately entrusting these things into Your hands, casting all of my cares and concerns upon You. Give me grace and strength to then wait upon You, for Your Holy Spirit to show me how and when I am to respond. Keep me from reacting in the power of my flesh; enable me to respond in the Power of Your Spirit. I am to humble myself under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt me, casting the whole of my care…all my anxieties, all my worries, all my concerns, once and for all…on Him, for He cares for me affectionately and cares about me watchfully. [1 Peter 5:6-7]
Child of God! There are various ways you can grieve My Holy Spirit. Whenever you are not actively seeking His leading, guidance and direction, you grieve Him…because He was given by Me, your God and Father, to dwell in you for that purpose. It is an insult to your Father, My beloved child, to be complacent and indifferent toward My precious gift. Whenever you are attempting to live your life in the power of the flesh rather than in the Power of the Spirit and His enabling grace, you grieve Him. He was given for the purpose of being the Power of your life in God. Indeed, you cannot please God in any way by living your life in the power of the flesh. You grieve the Spirit whenever you do not give Him Sovereign rule and authority over the course of your life and over your every day manner of living…allowing your flesh to come down off that cross, on which you were crucified with Christ My Son, to usurp the rule and authority in your life that belongs to Him alone. You grieve the Holy Spirit by not allowing His fruit to be manifested in your life, by persisting in sin, and by disbelief. You grieve the Holy Spirit when you outright refuse to do what He is leading you to do, as did Jonah.
You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are just like your fathers: you always resist the Holy Spirit! Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with Whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Do not quench, suppress, or subdue the Holy Spirit. [Acts 7:51; 1 Thess 5:19; Eph 4:30]
But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the Holy Spirit of God really dwells within you, directing and controlling you. So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh, obligated to our carnal nature to live a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates of the flesh. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons/daughters of God. The Spirit Himself testifies together with our own spirit, assuring us that we are indeed children of God. [Rom 8:9, 12, 14, 16]
Abba Father…this is surely the blessed life of deep and intimate personal relationship with You: my waiting upon God…watching and waiting, looking off unto You and listening for Your voice…with an unwavering child-like trust and an unreserved child-like dependence, with a joyful expectation and an excited anticipation…for You to reveal Yourself to me ever more deeply and intimately, and Your plans, Your purposes, Your will for me…SO I MAY THEN RESPOND, with an unquestioning child-like obedience, to every leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit, cooperating with the Power of His enabling grace Who works in me both to will and to do.
Friends, brothers and sisters…
There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell. You must be a born-again child of God. I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom. I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]
If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”
Lord How Majestic You Are:
