Abba Father…bring Glory to Your Name, and bring Your blessings and Your salvation before the souls of Man!  In the presence of the congregation, I will proclaim Your Great Name and Your Mighty Power according to all that my eyes shall see! [John 12:28; Ps 27:1, 35:18, 96:2, 118:14; Isa 61:10; Dt 32:3]

ABRAHAM: THE OBEDIENCE OF FAITH

Obedience is the very life of faith, and the only way into a deep and intimate personal relationship with God.  It is impossible to receive God without also receiving His will.

Wholeheartedly seeking the City whose builder is God

By faith, Abraham saw the unseen; in hope he lived in the future.  And I, who have been called to enter into the True Tabernacle and into the very Presence of God Himself, to intimate fellowship, to wholehearted obedience…shall I not obey, and go out, even though it be not knowing whither I go?  I am called to separate myself entirely from the world and its spirit; I am called, like the Son of God, die to myself, that I may live to God. A worldly spirit in the Church or in the Christian is a deadly disease; it makes the life of faith impossible.  I am to consider it my worst enemy, and live as a foreigner, who seeks the City which is to come.  For he[Abraham] was waiting expectantly and confidently looking forward to the City which has fixed and firm foundations, whose Architect and Builder is God. [Heb 11:10]

Separation from the World

God’s purpose in calling Abraham was to have him alone with Himself, separated from all he could cling to or trust in, that He might teach him to find his all in God alone.  God calls me, and each one of us, to the very same thing, to a child-like trust in Him and a child-like dependence upon Him.  I am not to place my reliance upon anything else, nor upon any one else…in anything.  Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers.  How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness?  How can light live with darkness?  What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil?  How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever?  And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols?  For we are the temple of the living God.  As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them.  I will be their God, and they will be My people.  Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them,” says the Lord.  “Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.  And I will be your Father, and you will be My sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty. [2 Cor 6:14-18]

Friends, brothers and sisters…

There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell.  You must be a born-again child of God.  I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom.  I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]

If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”

He walks with me and He talks with me:
