When My judgments come upon the Earth…When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or when I command locusts to devour the land [as is happening right now in Kenya] or when I send a plague among my people [as is happening even now worldwide]…the people of the world learn righteousness. Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One Who is speaking to you even now. For if the Israelites did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the Earthly messenger, who warned and divinely instructed them, revealing with heavenly warnings God’s will, how much less shall you escape if you reject the One Who warns and admonishes you from Heaven! When God spoke from Mount Sinai His voice shook the Earth, but now He makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the Earth but the heavens also.” This means that all of Creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us then be thankful and please God; worship Him with holy fear and awe. For our God is indeed a consuming fire! [Isa 26:10; Heb 12:25-29]
Blessed Jesus…You are my Lord; my well-being depends entirely on You. You Yourself are my inheritance, my prize! You are my food and drink, my highest joy! You safeguard all that is mine! I have been given a wonderful inheritance; my assigned portion is indeed delightful! I bless You, Lord, for Your counsel; even at night my heart instructs me! [Ps 16:2, 5-7]
Lord God Almighty…I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy and unfailing love, for You have seen my affliction and You care about the anguish of my soul. You are my Strength and my Shield; I trust You with all my heart. You always help me, and my heart is filled with joy; I burst out in songs of thanksgiving! O Lord, You are my unyielding Strength, and You are the Stronghold of salvation to me, Your anointed. Save your people and bless your inheritance in these perilous times, Sovereign Lord; lead us like a shepherd, and carry us in Your arms forever! [Ps 28:7-9; 31:7]
Agent of Worship: Holy Spirit
God has given the gift of the Holy Spirit, not only to dwell in me but also to be the Divine nature within me out of which I am to now live my life. I am no longer to live my life out of my natural, sin-enslaved, human nature. The indwelling Holy Spirit must:
1) BE ALL:
- a) Embracing the Life of Jesus:
1) Sacred Covenant Relationship.
2) Mirror of the Almighty.
- b) Embracing the death of Jesus:
1) Death to sin.
2) Death to self.
2) DO ALL:
- a) God’s workmanship.
- b) Works both to will and to do.
2) DO ALL: The Holy Spirit is to DO ALL in me…ALL that God Himself has planned in advance for me to do during my lifetime. I am not to do what I want to do, or what I think would be good to do. Oftentimes, Christians get involved with doing things “for God” that they have decided upon. They never hear the Lord saying, “That’s nice, but it isn’t what I wanted you to do,” or the Holy Spirit saying, “You’re on your own, buddy…I never told you to do that.” My priority in life is to wait upon God…as Jesus Himself did, clearly stating, “I am able to do nothing independently, of My Own accord, but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders.” I am to wait upon the Holy Spirit to place me where I am to be, lead me where I am to go, show me what I am to do, give me the thoughts I am to think and the words I am to speak.
God Himself has declared, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. [Jer 29:11] It was said of Jesus, in the Old Testament, “Here I am, I have come…it is written about Me in the scroll. I desire to do Your will, O My God; Your law is within My heart.” Jesus Himself said, “I have come down from Heaven, not to do My will but to do the will of Him Who sent Me.” [Ps 40:8; John 6:37-38]
a) God’s workmanship: I am God’s Own handiwork…His workmanship…recreated in Christ Jesus, born anew that I may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for me, taking paths which He Himself prepared ahead of time, that I should walk in them, living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for me to live. [Eph 2:10]
And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Christ Jesus’ return, developing that good work, perfecting it, and bringing it to full completion in you. [Phil 1:6]
b) Works both to will and to do: Not in my own strength…for it is God in the Power of the Holy Spirit Who is all the while effectually at work in me, energizing and creating in me both the power and desire, both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. [Phil 2:13-14]
Such is the reliance and confidence that we have through Christ toward and with reference to God. Not that we are qualified and sufficient in ability of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God. [2 Cor 3:4-5]
Friends, brothers and sisters…
There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell. You must be a born-again child of God. I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom. I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]
If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”
He walks with me and He talks with me:
