Brothers and Sisters in Christ…

Following are excerpts from a message given by Pastor David Wilkerson, founder of Times Square Church, and Author of the Cross and the Switchblade.  

In one hour, God is going to change the church.  This hour of devastation that God is going to visit upon our Nation will suddenly change churches, whether they are alive or dead.  Isaiah writes, “There shall be the shaking as of an olive tree.” (Isaiah 24:13)  The image is of God shaking an olive tree after it has been picked of fruit.  He is going to shake everything that can be shaken, sparing nothing.  It will be a time of cataclysmic destruction and overwhelming darkness.  

“What about God’s people in the midst of all this?  What will happen to the church?”  Isaiah gives us an incredible word about what will happen with believers.  In the midst of the terrible shaking, a song will be heard, and its sound will grow steadily stronger.  Suddenly, in that darkest of hours, a worldwide chorus of voices will sing praises to the majesty of God: “They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the Lord, they shall cry aloud from the sea.” (24:14)

There will be panic everywhere.  Men’s hearts will fail them for fear, as fires belch smoke seen for hundreds of miles.  Disorder and chaos will reign on all sides.  Yet amid the devastating fires and calamity, the world will hear a glorious song being sung: “Glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel…From the uttermost part of the Earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous [One].” (Isaiah 24:15–16)  A holy remnant is going to awaken, and a song will be born in the fire.  Instead of panicking, the people of God will be praising His awesome majesty.  In the darkest hour of all time, a collective voice will rise by the millions out of every nation, not in fear or agony, but in joyful praise to the Lord!

How will this happen?  In one hour, God is going to regenerate and restore His Church.  Dry bones will shake and rattle, and the righteous will be awakened, as the Holy Spirit calls multitudes of lukewarm believers back to their first love.  In his mercy, He’s going to rouse those who have neglected Him, ignoring His Word, avoiding prayer, perhaps even contemplating divorce.  Suddenly, their souls will be flooded with pangs of remorse and godly sorrow.  And many will fall on their knees, crying out in repentance.  There will be a revival of glorifying God’s majesty.  And the song of this revival will be heard from the uttermost parts of the Earth.  East, west, north and south…from Arab lands to China, Indonesia, Africa and all parts of the Earth…a glorious song will rise up from the midst of the fires.  In one day’s time, those who survived the fires are going to be singing a new song throughout the world.

Isaiah 25 tells us wonderful miracles will come in this time, as “God makes all things new.”  All around the world, the Lord’s people are going to “feast” on His Word: “In this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.” (Isaiah 25:6)  “And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.” (25:7)  Right now the world’s masses seem to be covered with a veil, unable to see the truth of Jesus Christ.  But when God rises up to shake the world through judgment, the shrouds covering the minds of billions will be cast aside.  The veil of darkness will be removed, and many will see the Lord in His Glory!  The Holy Spirit won’t force Christ upon these opened eyes and hearts; rather, a remnant is going to rise up from among them.

In one hour, God is going to change us as individuals.  In a single hour, the focus of our lives will be changed.  We’ll no longer obsess about our own adversities and troubles.  Suddenly, so many things that we held dear will no longer be of any value to us.  Why?  In that hour, everyone will be in the same boat: “It shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.” (Isaiah 24:2)  The sudden judgment that comes will not be a respecter of anyone.  Rather, it is going to touch all who are within the realm of its fury.  Presidents, kings, the world’s richest and most famous…all will tremble just like the poorest of the Earth.  And this cataclysmic event will bring to naught every idol, purging iniquity and tearing down all false altars: “By this [the calamity] therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when God maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up [be left standing]” (Isaiah 27:9).

This is the hope of our most holy faith: our Lord causes a song to come out of the darkest of times.  Start now to build up your holy faith in Him, and learn to praise His majesty quietly in your heart.  When you sing your song, it will strengthen and encourage your brothers and sisters.  And it will testify to the world: “Our Lord reigns over the Flood!”  

The Autonomous Socialist States of America…The ASSA…is no longer a Constitutional Republic; we are now a Fascist Dictatorship…just as our Nation’s founding fathers warned would be the case if ever we abandoned God.  The Socialist, Authoritarian regime now has control over all 3 branches of our Government.  Make no mistake about it…God Himself Personally judged our Nation with utter destruction, by His Own Divine Decree.  Man did not do this; God didn’t just allow this to happen, He determined it to happen.  Just as He did not allow Sodom and Gomorrah to be destroyed, or allow the world to be destroyed by a Great Flood…He Personally caused it.  We are plunging into a deep and very dark abyss in American history, at warp speed! 

 A new Democratic reign of terror is upon us, endangering our free speech, free press, political playing field, and personal liberty.  The Democrats are using the outrageous and unsupportable Capital riot the same way that the Reichstag Fire of 1933 was used…as a pretext for an authoritarian crackdown as was done in Germany. 
The Reichstag Fire was a dramatic arson attack which burned the building that housed the Reichstag (German parliament) in Berlin, occurring on the night of February 27, 1933, a key event in the establishment of the Nazi dictatorship.  The newly named Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler used the fire as an excuse to seize absolute power in Germany, paving the way for the rise of his Nazi regime.  On the 23rd March, 1933, Hitler proposed the Enabling Law to the Reichstag.  This new law gave Hitler the power to rule by decree rather than passing laws through the Reichstag.  The law would establish the conditions needed for dictatorial rule. 
Like the Reichstag fire, the incident at the U.S. Capitol is being used as an excuse by government, corporations, and the media to inflame an unprecedented war against conservatives.  The media has become a non-stop propaganda machine, viciously and continually attacking facts they don’t like as “lies.” 

This is what Fascism looks like as it plays out every day in the news: 

News Article: Mass Resistance:  The EQUALITY ACT is soon to be proposed in the House once again, and this time passed, by the Biden Administration.  This Act will completely destroy all religious freedom.  Anywhere discrimination on the basis of sex now appears in the law, the new terms “gender identity,” and “sexual orientation” will be added.  That includes laws on public accommodations, employment, housing, credit, education, federally funded programs, jury service, and child welfare programs.  The ruling elite wants free rein to keep expanding their reach without limit of legal definitions.  What we’re experiencing is the perversion of language for use as a political weapon.  Orwell explained this in “The Principles of Newspeak.”  The purpose of Newspeak was not only to provide a medium of expression for the world-view and mental habits proper to the ruling regime, but to make all other modes of thought impossible.  This was done partly by the invention of new words, but chiefly by eliminating undesirable words and by stripping such words as remained of “unapproved” meanings.  Newspeak was designed not to extend but to diminish the range of thought. 
New words and phrases invented by the Left: sexual orientation – gay – gay marriage – bisexual – gender – gender identity – transgender – [pronouns] zie, zir, they, them – queer – LGBTQ+ – questioning – pansexual – nonbinary – genderqueer – sex assigned at birth – who they are – hate speech – hate crime – love is love – social justice.
Undesirable words and phrases the Left is attempting to eliminate: God – faith – Bible – truth – free speech – freedom of the press – Constitution -Founding Fathers – abortion – morality – perversion – modesty – sodomy – mother – father – son – daughter – parental rights.
Words and phrases that are being stripped of “unapproved” meanings: sex – man – woman – boy – girl – marriage – family – human rights – justice – discrimination – hate – equality.

“Mystery Babylon” in the Book of Revelation is America, and the prophesy written by John is the utter destruction of America.  We are the End Times Nation, the 7th and last of the great world powers throughout history that God has determined to utterly destroy.  Six have already been destroyed: Greece, Persia, Babylon, Assyria, Egypt, and Rome.  The destruction of America will now usher in the Great Tribulation and the Anti-christ.  America has stood in the way of the Anti-christ, and now God, by His Own Divine Decree, has removed and destroyed our Nation…for obvious good reason…to usher in the End Times of Biblical prophecy.

The Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.  The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire.  Since everything on the Earth will be destroyed in this way, you ought to live a holy and godly life as you look forward to the coming Day of the Lord!  Everyone who has this hope purifies himself, just as He is pure.  So, beloved, since you are expecting these things to happen, be eager to be found by Him at His coming living a pure and blameless life and at peace…in serene confidence, free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts.  Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked persons.  I don’t want you to lose your own secure footing.  But grow in the special favor and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.  But just as He Who called you is Holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am Holy.” [2 Peter 3:3-4, 10-12, 14, 17; 1 John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:14-16; Ezek 12:22-23]
No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.  As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.  That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.  But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.  So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. Matt 24:36-39, 42-44 
“Behold”, says the Lord Jesus in His last warning for the last opportunity offered to mankind to be among His redeemed, “I come for the last time like a thief in the night to gather those who would be among the elect!  Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, in watchfulness, prayer and readiness for the summons when it comes, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed, eternally without remedy.” 

“Brace yourself, and tell others that I have warned them to brace themselves, for they are about to see even more shocking things.  Ready or not, Nation, here it comes!  Brace yourself on My Word and on My promises, and do not rely on your own strength.  Do not stop bracing yourselves, and don’t look back; the storm will not pass until I, the Lord, stop the storm!  Those who refuse to get ready will be wanting in the end.” 
Beloved…I still hold to these words of warning from the Holy Spirit.  

Brothers and sisters in Christ…This is where I stand.  I don’t know why God has been exhorting me to continually warn the brethren to be prepared with a supply of food and necessities…but I am not giving up my own provisions at this point in time.  I am holding on, and I will wait and see what takes place.  And so I continue to encourage you…Make provision for the physical sustenance of your family and yourself [refer to https://preservechristianfamily.org/2017/02/26/brace-yourself-prepare/].  A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep on going, and suffer for it. [Proverbs 22:3]
The Lord always warns His holy remnant beforehand, so that they will always be prepared and never taken by surprise like the unbelievers and the lukewarm.  Make provision for yourself and your family materially, spiritually, and emotionally NOW for what the Lord is warning will take place so as to not be overwhelmed by a severe scarcity of goods, and thereby spiral into debilitating emotional depression!
You need to be prepared and available as a minister of the Lord to a dying world: Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the Word of life. [Phil 2:14-16]  We have been raised up by the Lord for such a time as this! 

But if the watchman sees the danger coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people, and the sword comes and takes the life of even one of them, that one will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood. [Ezek 33:6] 
Lord God Almighty, as Your watchman I have been solemnly fulfilling the responsibility You have given me in sounding the alarm to warn Your people; there will be no blood on my hands.

BRACE YOURSELF

We have conveniently chosen to ignore the lessons of God’s judgment of destruction on every great empire throughout history…Greece, Persia, Babylon, Assyria, Egypt, Rome…and now in our present day we have totally forgotten the lessons God has been trying to teach America over the years.  Our godlessness has only and continually escalated through the years; we’ve sinned far worse than our ancestors EVER did!  We are far more wicked than they EVER were!  God has therefore determined by His Own Divine decree to destroy our Nation….and for obvious good reason!  Brothers and sisters…IT IS FINISHED!   

Come, My people, enter your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the Lord’s wrath has passed by.  For behold, the Lord is coming out of His Heavenly Sanctuary to punish the inhabitants of the Earth for their iniquity.  The Earth also will disclose the blood shed upon her, and the ground will no longer hide those who have been murdered…63 million unborn children slaughtered in cold-blooded murder…and conceal her guilt.  They will be brought out for all to see. [Isa 26:20-21]
How long, Sovereign Lord, Holy and True, until you judge the inhabitants of the Earth and avenge our blood? [Rev 6:10]
We are encouraged, though, to keep our own integrity in times of common apostasy, that, if we do so, we shall be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger. 

PREPARE YOURSELF.

We are in the Last Days; time is moving very quickly, and we are drawing near!  We will soon begin witnessing an escalation in chaos and destruction throughout our Nation that will off the charts!  The months of December and January, 2021, will also be characterized by a nationwide bewildering scarcity of goods, and a debilitating emotional depression.  God is calling a holy remnant to Himself…to personal revival…a holy remnant of His children who will not bow down, who will not shrink back, who will not compromise, who will remain steadfast and immovable in their commitment to follow the Lamb whithersoever He goes.  God’s holy remnant is called to a life of self-sacrifice and self-denial.  You cannot become My holy remnant without being willing to sacrifice your desire for anything and everything you own.  Obedience is what characterizes the life of My child…obedience continually and unceasingly day and night. 

Then the angel said to me, “Write this down: Blessed are those summoned to the marriage banquet of the Lamb…all true believers who are members of His Universal Church.  They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with Power and great Glory.  And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect…God’s holy people…from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”  And he said to me further, “These are the True Words of God.” [Rev 19:9] 
Blessed Jesus…I rejoice and shout triumphantly for joy!  I celebrate and ascribe to You glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb draws near, and Your bride, the Universal Church and each of her members, has been preparing herself and has made herself ready! [Rev 19:7]  Hallelujah!

Arise My bride, and prepare to pray:

  • Pray to strengthen the backbone of the Church.  The current ongoing persecution of the Church and of Christians is going to escalate exponentially; it is going to get MUCH WORSE.
  • Pray for the cleansing of the corruption in the Church.  God is going to expose and purge corruption within His Church, and separate the wheat from the chaff…separate His True church from the apostate churches that no longer belong to Him.  He is going to expose false prophets and teachers, and wolves dressed in sheep clothing pretending to be shepherds.  
    These are the days of the separation of the wheat from the chaff.  But also in those days there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves.  They preach prosperity, wealth, and health; good times, and all is well.  From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit.  They dress the wound of My people as though it were not serious.  “Peace, peace,” they say, when there is no peace.  Are they ashamed of their loathsome conduct?  No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush!  They will subtly and cleverly teach their destructive heresies about God, even denying the Sovereign Lord Who bought them.  Theirs will be a swift and terrible end.
    Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality.  And because of them, Christ and His true way will be slandered.  In their greed they will make up clever lies and cunning arguments to get hold of your money.  With eyes full of adultery, their lust is never satisfied.  They make a game of beguiling and luring unstable people into sin.  They train themselves to be greedy; they are doomed and cursed.  But God condemned them long ago, and their eternal misery is on the way. 
  • Pray for a Great Harvest.  It is a call to preach the gospel to everyone, everywhere.  Jesus said to them, “Go throughout the whole world and preach the good news of the Gospel to everyone, everywhere.  With My authority, take this message of repentance to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to Me. [Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47] 
    And now, Lord God Almighty… bring rains to our drought-stricken lives, so that those who sow in tears, invoking the Lord of the Harvest, will reap with songs of Joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying bountiful sheaves from the harvest with him! [Ps 126:3-6]

Arise My bride, and prepare for battle

There is going to be severe Satanic, demonic attacks against God’s holy remnant of committed, uncompromising, steadfast Christians, pastors, and leaders [not the lukewarm], and against marriages, families, and children.  There is going to be severe attacks and intense persecution coming from pretending “Christians” within the church,  against pastors who preach the uncompromised Word of God.  For the time is coming when people will not tolerate sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching for something self-pleasing and gratifying, they will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.  [2 Tim 4:3-5]
Woe to the inhabitants of the Earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you!  He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short. [Rev 12:12]

Arise My bride, and prepare to see My Face

Behold, I am coming soon!  My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
At that time the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.  Five of them were foolish and did not take extra oil with them.  The wise, however, took extra oil in jars along with their lamps, and so were ready for his coming.  Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour. [Jesus…Matt 25:1-13]

ENDURE TO THE END 

I am coming quickly.  Hold on to what you have, so that no one will deprive you of your crown.  Everyone who overcomes by means of their faith…I will make a pillar in the Sanctuary of My God.  Never again will you leave it.  I will write on you the name of My God and you will be a citizen in the city of My God…the new Jerusalem…which will come down out of Heaven from My God; I will also write on you My Own new name.

Friends, brothers and sisters…

There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell.  You must be a born-again child of God.  I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom.  I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]

 If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”
