God has determined by His Own Divine decree that our Nation will be destroyed. “Quos Deus vult perdere, prius dementat! Those whom God is determined to destroy, He first infatuates.” God has Personally stricken the minds of our Nation’s leaders with idiocy, so that in all of their ministrations…professing to be wise, they have become fools… utter morons. WHY DO I EXIST?
Because there is an Eternal God Who exists. In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth. The Heavens continually declare the magnificent majesty and Glory of God; their measureless expanse continually displays the awesome wisdom and power of His handiwork. Day after day their silent speech is heard unceasingly throughout the farthest reaches of the Earth; night after night they unveil the fathomless knowledge of the Almighty. Ever since God created the world, His invisible qualities…both His Eternal Power and His Divine Nature…have been clearly seen. They are perceived and understood in the majesty and Glory of God’s breathtaking Creation handiwork! So those people who do not believe there is a God have no excuse at all for their blind unbelief.
When God Created The Heavens and The Earth: The story of Creation [Genesis 1:1-2:3] written for young children preschool through 5th grade in an interesting child-friendly story format they can easily understand and begin reading for themselves. Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, God decided, “I am going to make the Earth and everything that is on it. And I am going to make the heavens and everything that is in it.” Now in the very beginning, before God began His work, the Earth was not like the way we see it now. Not at all. It was empty, without anything on it. Deep oceans covered the Earth, and everything was very, very dark…pitch black. Then the Spirit of God began sweeping over the stormy seas. And God said, “Let there be light!” At once daylight appeared, just as He commanded, and chased away the darkness! God looked at the light, and He was pleased with what He had done. He then separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “Daytime,” and He called the darkness “Nighttime.” The light of daytime was soon over, and then came the darkness of nighttime. Soon nighttime was over and the morning light appeared. That was the end of the very first day, and the beginning of a new day…the second day.
Now after God had made the light on the first day, and then separated the light from the darkness, the Earth was still not like the way we see it now. Not at all. Deep oceans still covered all the Earth. From one end of the Earth to the other, there was nothing but water. Above the surface of the water there was nothing but very thick clouds and very dense fog. They were so thick and so dense you could not see anything at all! There was no land yet, and there was no sky either…just water and thick clouds and dense fog. So on the second day God spoke again. He said, “Let there be a wide and very high open space placed between the waters of the ocean and the dense fog. Let the wide and very high open space separate the oceans of the Earth from the thick clouds and dense fog.” At once a wide and very high open space appeared, just as He commanded! God made this wide and very high open space to separate the oceans of the Earth from the thick clouds and dense fog He wanted to stay high up in the heavens above. God called the wide and very high open space “Sky.” The light of daytime was soon over, and then came the darkness of nighttime. Soon nighttime was over and the morning light appeared. That was the end of the second day, and the beginning of a new day…the third day.
Now on the first day God made the light, and then separated the light from the darkness. And let each one of them also grow seeds, so that their seeds can sprout and make more of their own kind of plant.” At once all kinds of plants appeared…flowers, trees, and every green thing that has leaves and grows, just as He commanded! From that time on, the Earth grew every kind of plant…many, many different kinds of flowers and trees, and green things that have leaves and grow! Each one of them also grew seeds, and their seeds sprouted and grew more of its own kind of plant. God looked at all the wonderful vegetation He had commanded the Earth to grow. He was pleased with all He had done! The light of daytime was soon over, and then came the darkness of nighttime. Soon nighttime was over and the morning light appeared. That was the end of the third day, and the beginning of a new day…the fourth day.
Now you know that on the first day God made the light, and separated it from the darkness. On the second day God made the wide and very high open space He called “Sky.” On the third day God made the dry ground and the mountains appear in their own places. He gathered the water of the oceans together to stay in their own places. God called the dry ground “Land.” The waters He had gathered together in their own places He called “Seas.” God also commanded the Earth to grow all kinds of beautiful plants…many, many different kinds of flowers, trees, and green things that have leaves and grow. Still, the Earth was not like the way we see it now. Above the surface of the Earth was the wide and very high open space of the sky…but the sky had nothing in it! Nothing at all! So on the fourth day God spoke again. He said, “Let there be lights in the sky to separate daytime from nighttime. There will be one bright light to shine during the day. There will be many other not as bright lights to shine during the night. These lights will show the time for seasons. They will also be used like a calendar to mark off days, years, and all the special holidays of the year that everyone celebrates together. They will be lights in the sky to shine and give light on all the Earth.” At once all the lights in the sky appeared, to shine and give light on all the Earth, just as He commanded! So it was that God made the two large lights…the sun and the moon. He made the sun, which is the much brighter light, to shine during the day. And He made the moon, which is not nearly as bright, to shine during the night. He also made all the stars…so many that no one could count them all! God put the sun, the moon, and all the stars in the sky to shine and give light on all the Earth. The sun was to rule over the day, and the moon was to rule over the night. God wanted them to separate the light of daytime from the darkness of nighttime. God looked at the sun, moon, and stars He had placed in the sky, and He was pleased with all He had done! The light of daytime was soon over, and then came the darkness of nighttime. Soon nighttime was over and the morning light appeared. That was the end of the fourth day, and the beginning of a new day…the fifth day.
Now the Earth was beginning to look a little bit like the way we see it now. There was daytime and nighttime. There was the sky, with the sun, moon, and stars that God had placed there to give light to all the Earth. There were land and mountains. There were oceans and seas. There were beautiful plants growing on the Earth…all kinds of flowers, trees, and green things that have leaves and grow. But something was missing. The Earth still seemed so empty. There were no animals, or birds, or fish! So on the fifth day God spoke again. He said, “Let the oceans and seas be filled with all kinds of fish and sea animals that swim in the water. Let the sky be filled with all kinds of birds with wings that can fly in the wide and very high space above the Earth.” So God created the large sea animals and all kinds of fish, and every other living creature that swims in the sea. The oceans and seas were filled with these many different kinds of sea creatures. For every kind of living creature that swims in the sea, God blessed them by creating some of them male, and some of them female. He did that so a male and a female of the same kind of sea creature could get together and have children just like themselves. God also made every kind of bird that can fly. For every kind of bird, God blessed them by creating some of them male, and some of them female. He did that so a male and a female of the same kind of bird could get together and have children just like themselves. Yes…God blessed all the sea creatures and the birds. He said to them, “Have many young ones so that there may be great numbers of you in the oceans and seas. He was pleased with all He had done! The light of daytime was soon over, and then came the darkness of nighttime. Soon nighttime was over and the morning light appeared. That was the end of the fifth day, and the beginning of a new day…the sixth day.
Finally, the Earth was beginning to look a lot like the way we see it now. There was daytime and nighttime. There was the sky, with the sun, moon, and stars that God had placed there. There were land and mountains. There were oceans and seas. There were beautiful plants growing on the Earth…all kinds of flowers, trees, and green things that have leaves and grow. And there were fish in the oceans and seas, and birds flying in the sky. But there were still no animals living on the land, and there were no people either! No animals and no people at all! So on the sixth day God spoke again. He said, “Let the Earth be filled with all kinds of living creatures that walk and crawl on the land. Let there be tame animals, and wild animals, and all kinds of reptiles, small animals, and insects.” At once every kind of animal, reptile, and insect that walks or crawls on the land appeared, just as He commanded! God blessed each and every kind of tame animal and wild animal, and each and every kind of reptile, small animal, and insect. He blessed them by creating some of them male, and some of them female. He did that so a male and a female of the same kind could get together and have children just like themselves. God looked at all the wonderful living creatures He had created that walk and crawl on the land. He was pleased with all He had done! Then God spoke again. He said, “We have now finished making every kind of living being. There are fish and all kinds of creatures that swim in the oceans and seas. There are all kinds of birds flying in the sky. There are animals and all kinds of living creatures that walk and crawl on the land. We have blessed every kind of living being by creating some of them male, and some of them female. We did this so a male and a female of the same kind could get together and have children just like themselves.”
“Let Us now make a living being who will be Our children. They will be just like Ourselves. We will call them ‘Human Beings.’” They will be known on all the Earth as the children of God. I will be their Father and their God, and they will be My sons and daughters. We will put them in charge of everything We have made. We will let them rule over the fish that swim in the sea. They will rule over the birds in the sky. They will rule over the tame animals and all the small animals, reptiles, and insects that walk or crawl on the land. We will let them rule over all the Earth. So God created human beings just like Himself. They are His children. He created some of them male and some of them female. He did this so that a male and a female could be joined together in marriage and then have a family with children just like themselves. God blessed Human Beings and He said, “Have families with children, and grow in number. Fill the Earth with people! You will be the master whom I have put in charge over all the Earth. Rule over the fish in the sea and over the birds in the sky. Rule over every living thing that moves on the land.” Then God said to His children, “Look at all the wonderful vegetation I have commanded the Earth to grow! I now give to you all the plants that grow grain for you to eat, and all kinds of trees that grow delicious fruit. Their grains and their fruits will be all yours for food.” Then God said to all of His other living creatures, “I give every green plant that has leaves and grows, and all the green grass, as food for every wild animal and every bird in the sky. It will be food for every small animal and living creature that moves on the land.” And so all the wonderful vegetation God had commanded the Earth to grow became food, some for human beings and some for all other living beings, just as He commanded! God looked at everything He had made. Daytime and nighttime. The sky, with the sun, moon, and stars. Land and mountains. Oceans and seas. Beautiful plants, flowers, trees, and green things that have leaves and grow. Fish swimming in the oceans and seas. Birds flying in the sky. Animals walking and crawling on the land. And best of all, His Own children, just like Himself! Yes, God created human beings to be sons and daughters in His Own Family! God was VERY pleased with all He had done! The light of daytime was soon over, and then came the darkness of nighttime. Soon nighttime was over and the morning light appeared. That was the end of the sixth day, and the beginning of a new day…the seventh day.
By the seventh day God’s work of making the Earth and everything that is on it was finished. He had finished making the heavens and everything that is in it. God blessed the seventh day and made it a holy day, because on that day He rested from all the work He had done in creating the World. [Genesis 1:1-2:3]
Friends, brothers and sisters…
There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell. You must be a born-again child of God. I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom. I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]

My child…listen; do not be stubborn and self-willed. I have told you the way to true comfort and happiness…a place of quiet, refreshing rest for heavy-laden souls. In repentance and resting in Me is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength. Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the eternal paths, where the good, old way is. I stand in awe of the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the One Who always was, Who is now and ever shall be, and Who is to come. [Rev 1:8; 22:13]
THE ASSURANCE OF FAITH: POSSESSION OF THE BETTER PROMISES
All of these heroes of faith, though they won Divine approval by means of their faith, did not receive the fulfillment of what had been promised. God had planned something better and greater in view for us, so that these heroes and heroines of faith should not come to perfection apart from us. [Heb 11:39-40]
THE ASSURANCE OF FAITH: POSSESSION OF THE BETTER PROMISES.
These heroes of faith received the promises, having seen them from afar off and having embraced them…the great promise of Christ Jesus and His redemption and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit…but died not having received the fulfillment of these promises. Wherefore holy brethren, partakers of a Heavenly calling, consider Jesus. If you have been living outside the veil that prohibits entrance into the Holy of Holies, do believe that God has provided some better thing for you also…a life within the veil, continually abiding before the face of our Father and enjoying His delight in you as His child! Living my life continually and unceasingly in the Holy of Holies… abiding in the inaccessible light of the Glory of my Father’s unclouded Presence…is my birthright as a child of the Most High God! Wherefore, brethren, having now boldness to enter into the Holiest by the Blood of Jesus, by the way which He dedicated for us, a new and living way to God, through the veil, that is to say, through the veil of His flesh; and having a great Priest over the House of God; let us then draw nigh…here let us continually abide. [Heb 10:19-20, 22]
Received the promise but not the possession
These heroes of faith received the promises, having seen them from afar off and having embraced them…the great promise of Christ Jesus and His redemption and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit…but died not having received the fulfillment of these promises. They would have to wait until the time that we were to receive the fulfillment of these promises, so that they would be made perfect together with us, and not before.
The glorious perfection of the New Covenant
In these closing verses of Hebrews chapter 10, we have the summing up of the entire chapter as well as the entire letter to the Hebrews. The superior excellence of the New Covenant is stated to be this: that we have some better thing, something perfect, which the saints had waited for but had never possessed. The Book of Hebrews was written to set before us the glory of these better promises God has provided for us through Christ Jesus His Son…promises that have perfected us:
- Christ has inherited a better name.
- He has brought us a better hope.
- He is the surety of a better Covenant enacted in better promises.
- In Him we have the better country and the better substance.
- To them God spoke in the prophets; to us in the Son.
- To them was offered the rest of Canaan; to us the Promised Rest of God.
- Their high priest was a man who died; ours is High Priest forever, in the Power of an endless life.
- Their sanctuary was on Earth, and even that had its veil; ours is the true Heavenly Sanctuary, with the veil taken away.
- Theirs was the Old Covenant, in which they had no power to faithfully keep; ours is the New Covenant, with the heart made new by the Holy Spirit.
- Theirs was the blood of bulls and goats; ours is the Blood of Jesus.
- Theirs was a sanctifying cleanness of the flesh; ours an eternal cleansing through the Blood, and the sprinkling of the heart from an evil conscience.
- Theirs was a worship that made nothing perfect; in ours we are perfected
- Their worship was a witness that access into the Holiest was not open; ours is the blessed experience that in the new and living way to God dedicated for us by Christ, we have living access into the Holy of Holies and the very Presence and love of the Father.
- Their Law made nothing perfect; Christ, by His sacrifice, has perfected us
- Apart from us they would not be made perfect; for us the blessing of some better thing, of being made perfect, has come.
Failure to embrace the perfection truths of the New Covenant
We have the possession of the thing promised, the Divine reality, the full inheritance of what were to them only the good things to come. The promise alone was sufficient to make them live a wonderful and powerful life of faith. Why is it then that so few of God’s children…we who actually have possession of the promises…so few experience the joy and the holiness and the nearness to God and the power of faith in my life? The one only answer is that I do not accept the possession with the same intensity with which they accepted the promise. If I will only rise up out of my worldliness and sloth and yield myself to the glorious perfection truths of this Epistle to the Hebrews…the perfection of our Great High Priest and His work…and press on unto it, He to Whom it has been given to work His work in me in the Power of an endless life will reveal in me that better and perfect thing as I have never yet known it! By faith, the fulfillment of every promise will be made true to me in the Power of the Holy Spirit poured out upon believers at Pentecost…the Spirit Who comes from the Throne of our great High Priest! Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. So let those of us who are spiritually mature and full-grown have this mind and hold these convictions. [Phil 3:13-15]
The power of the indwelling Holy Spirit appropriates the blessing
Christ Jesus has done it all in opening the Holy of Holies, securing the freedom and the right of access therein for the children of God; it is He Who, as much, must do all within me even now to make the actual abiding in the Holy of Holies a living reality. It is Christ Jesus Who makes the Holy of Holies, and the entrance into it, and the life within there to serve the living God, a living continual reality. He does this in the Power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within me. Christ redeemed me, that I might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. The Holy Spirit is the all-inclusive blessing of the New, the better, Covenant.
Life within the veil my birthright
Wherefore holy brethren, partakers of a Heavenly calling, consider Jesus. Abba Father, You alone reign! You are robed with Majesty! You are robed with Majesty and armed with Strength and Power! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved! Your Throne was established long ago, Father; You are from all Eternity! Your statutes stand firm; Your house is beautifully arrayed with Your Holiness, Father, for endless days, forever and ever! Hallelujah!
I praise Your Holy Name forever and ever, Father! All Wisdom and Power are Yours! You change times and seasons; You set up kings and depose them! You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning! You reveal deep and hidden things! You know what lies in darkness, and light dwells with You! All my thanks and all my praise belongs to You, God of my fathers, for You are the One who gives me wisdom and power!
Precious Father, Your Law…the revelation of Your will…is perfect, restoring my soul! Your testimonies of the Truth are sure and trustworthy, making wise ordinary people who are naive and gullible! Your precepts, given to me as specific instructions, are right, Father, giving joy to my heart! Your commandments carry the authority of Your Word; they are pure and radiant, bringing Your light to my eyes! In the hearts of Your people You foster a worshipful respect for the Lord’s Awesome Presence and a reverential trust in Your unfailing, unchanging love. Such reverence and respect for You is pure and clean, Father, enduring forever! Your judgments…the decisions You make concerning human situations…are sure, altogether fair and righteous! These special revelations to Your people…Your Law, testimonies, precepts, commandments, judgments, reverential respect for You…are more precious than gold, Father, more precious even than the finest gold! They are sweeter than honey, sweeter even than drippings from the honeycomb! As Your servant, I am both warned by them and greatly rewarded in keeping them!
