Brothers and sisters in Christ…

God is calling you, and desires to anoint you, to be part of His holy remnant.  Whether you are a pastor, a Christian leader, or a member of the congregation…this is what the Lord says: To the pastors I have placed in charge of My churches concerning your congregation and each individual member, write: This is the last call.  I have wooed you so many times.  This time, I say to you, in great love…there is a cost to an anointing; this is not a light, frivolous matter.  The anointing is not cheap.  If you say in your heart, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it,” if you pay the cost of the anointing, I’ll open doors for you, I’ll speak through you, and I’ll use you again like you have never conceived.  The church and any members of the congregation embracing My call will move in the Power of My Holy Spirit, and bring great glory to God!  The time of being pumped up is over.  I am tired of your solemn assembly’s, I’m tired of your sacrifices… they’re not from the heart.  Don’t miss what God is about to do.  The time has come; I need you, and I love you…but if you ignore this trumpet call…if you say in your heart, “We will not listen,” I am going to take your anointing.  You’re not going to have anything to say to anybody; you’re going to be dry.  You are going into the desert…I will love you there, and I will keep you in My care, but you can’t go with Me, and I won’t go with you. 
Beloved child of God…let My Holy Spirit open your heart, and say from the depths of your being, “God, once again, use Your church; use Your child.  Now…not another time…tonight, let something in my heart respond to Your call.”

Just as God raised up a remnant of just 1% of all the men Gideon had marshaled to fight against the Midianites, even so there is a holy remnant whom God is raising up for Himself in these Last Days…a Godly remnant of the 1% of His children who will not bow down, who will not shrink back, who will not compromise, who will remain steadfast and immovable in their commitment to follow the Lamb whithersoever He goes.  God’s holy remnant is called to a life of self-sacrifice and self-denial.  You cannot become My holy remnant without being willing to sacrifice your desire for anything and everything you own.  Obedience is what characterizes the life of My child…obedience continually and unceasingly day and night.  You are called to a life of obedience.   Obedience is better than sacrifice; rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as evil as worshiping idols. [1 Sam 15:22,23]

REFLECTIONS
These are the cardinal truths concerning the life of waiting upon God, and how deep down these truths go to the very root of spiritual life. [Andrew Murray, Waiting on God]

• The very Nature and Being of God, as the only Possessor and Dispenser of any life there is in the Universe, implies that He must every moment communicate to every creature the power by which it exists, and therefore also much more the power by which it can do that which is good.  That capability for Mankind to do that which is good is solely and only through the Holy Spirit…God’s Eternal Gift given to those who are born-again to dwell within us, never to leave us nor forsake us, to be the source of our strength and the Power of our life.  
• The very nature and being of a creature, as owing its existence to God alone, and equally owing to Him each moment the continuation of that existence, implies that its happiness can only be found in absolute, unceasing, and continual child-like dependence upon God.
• The great value and blessing of the gift of the Spirit at Pentecost, as the fruit of Christ’s Redemption, is that it is now possible for God to take possession of His redeemed children and work in them as He did in Adam before the fall.
• In the Spiritual life, our great need is the knowledge of two great lessons.
  The one…our entire sinfulness and helplessness…our utter impotence by any effort of our own to do anything towards the maintenance and increase of our inner spiritual life.
  The second…the infinite willingness of God’s Love…which is nothing but a desire to communicate Himself and His blessedness to us to meet our every need, and every moment to work in us by His Son and His Holy Spirit what we need.
• Therefore, the very essence of true religion, whether in Heaven or upon Earth, consists in an unalterable dependence upon God… an unreserved child-like dependence upon God…because we can give God no other glory than yielding ourselves to His Love, which created us to show forth in us its glory, that it may now perfect its work in us.

I have been much impressed by the thought of how, in all our religion, personal and public, we need more of God.  I have felt the need for God’s people, in our worship time, to wait on God much more than we do; to make the cultivation of a deeper sense of His Presence, of more direct contact with Him, of entire dependence upon Him, our definite aim and personal goal.

At all our conventions and assemblies, too little time is given to waiting on God.  Is He not willing to put things right in His Own Divine way?  Has the life of God’s people reached the utmost limit of what God is willing to do for them?  Surely not!  We need to wait on Him; to put away our experiences, however blessed they have been; our conceptions of truth, however sound and Scriptural we think they seem; our plans, however needful and suitable they appear; and give God time and place to show us what He could do, what He will do, if we would only just give Him free reign to do with us as He pleases.

The great lack of our religion is…we do not know God.  The answer to every complaint of feebleness and failure, the message to every congregation or convention seeking instruction on holiness, ought to be simply, “What is the matter?  Have you not God?”
If you really believe in God, He will put all right.  God is willing and able by His Holy Spirit.  Cease from expecting the least good from yourself, or the least help from anything there is in man, and just yield yourself unreservedly to God to work in you.  He will most assuredly do all for you.  This is the gospel we so little know.  Would God that we might get some right conception of what the influence would be on a life spent…not in thought, or imagination, or effort…but in the Power of the Holy Spirit, wholly waiting upon God.  He can do new things, unheard of things, hidden things.  Let us enlarge our hearts and not limit Him.  When Thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, Thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at Thy Presence.  For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside Thee, what He hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him. [Isa 64:3-4]  

My beloved child…this is indeed the privilege of all My children: “All who are indeed My children are continually led by My indwelling Holy Spirit!”  So I counsel you, walk in My Spirit.  Watch for Him and wait before Him; look off unto Him and listen for His voice.  He will place you where you are to be; He will lead you where you are to go.  He will show you what you are to do to participate together with Me in My work, give you the thoughts you are to think and to present, the words you are to speak or write.

The very essence of a blessed life of deep and intimate personal relationship with God…an abiding life of faith in God…can be summed up in this one, all-encompassing, principle:
WAITING UPON GOD, with and unwavering child-like trust and an unreserved child-like dependence…
FOR GOD TO REVEAL TO ME His plans, His purposes, His will, and a deeper revelation of Who He is…
SO I MAY THEN RESPOND, with an unquestioning child-like obedience, to every leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit, cooperating with the Power of His enabling grace Who works in me both to will and to do.

Continually and unceasingly, day and night, my heart needs to breathe in that breath of life that comes from the Holy Spirit and sustains my spiritual life…just the same as my lungs need, continually and unceasingly, to breathe in that breath of life that comes from the outside air and sustains my physical life.  This is the blessed life of deep and intimate personal relationship with God.
Abba Father…since I have been raised with Christ Jesus Your Son into newness of life, I continually set my heart upon the rich eternal treasures that are above, in the Heavenly realms, where Your Divine Son Jesus is seated at Your right hand.  I continually set my mind and my thoughts on the things of Heaven and the spiritual realm, not on the things of Earth and the physical realm.  For I died in union with Christ Your Son, and have been raised up together with Him into newness of life; my new life is hidden now with Christ Jesus in You, Father.  When Christ, Who is my life, appears, then I also shall appear with Him in glory. [Col 3:1-4] 

Confident assurance that it is not in vain:
In the confident assurance in God which faith gives, I am ever to remember one thing above all…to wait upon God.  My chief need in waiting upon God, one of the deepest secrets of its blessedness and blessing, is a quiet, confident persuasion that it is not in vain; courage to believe that God will hear and help.  I am waiting upon a God Who never could disappoint His people!  In the utter insufficiency of all human strength, “Be strong and let thine heart take courage.”  I am to let NOTHING in Heaven or Earth or Hell…let NOTHING keep me from waiting on my God in full assurance that it cannot be in vain! [Andrew Murray]

My waiting…His revealing…my cooperating and responding:
Waiting upon God is the single most important habit of my spiritual life, and the essence of true religion; it is itself the highest privilege of the creature and the highest blessedness of His redeemed child.  As I wait upon God, and cooperate with His grace, and respond to His Holy Spirit, He Personally works in me both to will and to do by the Power of His Holy Spirit.  My soul, wait thou only upon God!  So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” [ Zech 4:6]  

My waiting…His revealing…my cooperating and responding:
Waiting upon God is the essence of a deep and intimate personal relationship with God in Spirit and in Truth.  The personal experience of God as He reveals Himself, His plans, His purposes, His will, is what deepens my knowledge of God, and separates from mere knowledge about God.  There is an eternal separation between personally knowing God, and knowledge about God.  My soul, wait thou only upon God!  Formerly, I had heard of You only by the hearing of the ear, but now my spiritual eyes see You! [Job 42:5]

My waiting…His revealing…my cooperating and responding:
I am to live every moment of my everyday life, whether involved in things that are sacred or things that are secular, waiting with an unwavering child-like trust and an unreserved child-like dependence upon God…for Him to reveal His plans, His purposes, His will, and a deeper revelation of Who He is…SO I MAY THEN RESPOND, with an unquestioning child-like obedience, to every leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit, cooperating with the Power of His enabling grace Who works in me both to will and to do.
I am never to initiate, never to act according to my own wisdom, knowledge and understanding.  I am only to cooperate and respond, according to the leading and guiding and counsel of the Holy Spirit.  This is the blessed life of a deep and intimate personal relationship with my Father.  My soul, wait thou only upon God!  I know, O Lord, that a man’s life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps. [Jer 10:23]  The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who listens to counsel is wise.  There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. [Prov 12:15; 14:12]

My waiting…His revealing…my cooperating and responding:
Think what new meaning and promise this gives to my life of waiting upon God…that Jesus gave His disciples this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift My Father promised, which you have heard Me speak about.” [Acts 1:4]  Just as the disciples tarried at the footstool of the Throne waiting upon the Spirit of God, it teaches me ever also to do likewise.  It reminds me that I, too, can only be strong in the life of faith, or the work of love, as I am in direct communication with the Father and Christ Jesus, through the life of the Spirit Who dwells in me.  It is the Spirit of God Who Personally lives out the life of Jesus in me…a life of obedience and suffering, self-sacrifice and self-denial…as I give Him free reign to do so.  And it is the same Holy Spirit Who Personally works out the death of Jesus in me, conforming me ever more deeply into the likeness of His death…death to sin and death to self…in order that I may thereby attain, more and more, to the Power of His resurrection life out from the dead.  It assures me that the Omnipotent God, through the Glorified Christ and the Power of the Holy Spirit working in me both to will and to do, will bring to pass things unexpected, things impossible…all to the Glory of God!  My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him.  From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides You, Who works for those who wait for Him. [Ps 62:5; Isa 64:4]  You will receive Power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; then, you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth. [Acts 1:7-8]

My waiting…His revealing…my cooperating and responding:
Waiting upon God…watching and waiting, looking off unto Him and listening for His voice…with an unwavering child-like trust and an unreserved child-like dependence, with a joyful expectation and an excited anticipation…
for God to reveal to me His plans, His purposes, His will, a deeper revelation of Who He is…
SO I MAY THEN RESPOND, with an unquestioning child-like obedience, to every leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit, cooperating with the Power of His enabling grace Who works in me both to will and to do.

My waiting…His revealing…my cooperating and responding:
“Wait only upon God;” my soul, be still, and let thy God unfold His perfect will.  
Thou fain would’st follow Him throughout this year, thou fain with listening heart His voice would’st hear, thou fain would’st be a passive instrument possessed by God, and ever Spirit-sent upon His service sweet…then be thou still, for only thus can He in thee fulfill His heart’s desire.
Oh, hinder not His hand from fashioning the vessel He hath planned.  “Be silent unto God,” and thou shalt know the quiet, holy calm He doth bestow on those who wait on Him.
So shalt thou bear His Presence, and His life and light e’en where the night is darkest, and thine Earthly days shall show His love, and sound His glorious praise.  And He will work with hand unfettered, free, His high and holy purposes through thee.
First on thee must that hand of Power be turned, till in His love’s strong fire thy dross is burned, and thou come forth a vessel for thy Lord, so frail and empty, yet, since He hath poured into thine emptiness His life, His love, henceforth through thee the Power of God shall move and He will work for thee.  Stand still and see the victories thy God will gain for thee; so silent, yet so irresistible, thy God shall do the thing impossible.
Oh, question not henceforth what thou canst do; thou canst do naught. But He will carry through the work where human energy had failed, where all thy best endeavors had availed thee nothing.
Then, my soul, wait and be still; thy God shall work for thee His perfect will.  If thou wilt take no less, His best shall be thy portion now and through eternity. [Freda Hanbury; 1882]  

Abba Father…Your Divine Son Jesus explained to the Samaritan woman at the well, “The time is coming, and is already here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.” [John 4:23]  True worshipers such as You seek, Father, will worship You in Spirit and Truth.
The only act of true worship is embracing in my heart, and manifesting continually and unceasingly in living out my every day life: NOT MY WILL, BUT THY WILL BE DONE…IN EVERYTHING.  And how do I manifest this true worship in living out my life?  By living out my every day life in a manner that bears witness for all to see to the truth of what I claim to believe…that in everything my life literally expresses an unwavering child-like trust in You, an unreserved child-like dependence upon you, and an unquestioning child-like obedience to do Your will and to accept Your will.  The confirmation of Your Holy Spirit within me will be my unruffled child-like rest in You, and an unclouded child-like carefree joy in Your Presence.  

A PLEA IN PRAYER

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait upon Thee. [Ps 25:21]

My beloved child…it is a great thing for your soul not only to wait upon God, but to be filled with such a conscious awareness of My Presence that your whole spirit and position is that of a waiting one…that you can, in child-like trust, say, “Lord! Thou knowest, I wait upon Thee!”  If you draw nigh to God, it must be with a true heart.  Your soul must know that it allows nothing sinful, nothing doubtful.  If you are indeed to meet the Holy One, and receive My full blessing, it must be with a heart solely and only, wholly and always, given up to My will.  You must follow the example of My Divine Son Jesus in the Garden that night: Not My will, but Thy will be done.  You cannot seek close fellowship with God, or attain the abiding consciousness of waiting upon Me all the day, without a very honest and entire surrender to all My will.  Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God; without holiness, no one will see the Lord.  The whole spirit that animates you in your waiting must be, “Let integrity and uprightness…Thou seest that I desire so to come to Thee; Thou knowest I am looking to Thee to work godliness and honesty perfectly in me; let them…preserve me, for I wait upon Thee.” [Ps 25:21]

“For I wait upon Thee.”  It must be clear to you, **        **, what, specifically, you are waiting upon God for.  It may be, in your times of prayer, waiting for Me to take My place as God, and to work in you the sense of My Holy Presence and nearness.  It may be a special petition, to which you are expecting an answer.  It may be your whole inner life, in which you are on the lookout for My putting forth of My Power.  It may be the whole state of My Church and saints, or some part of My work, for which your eyes are ever toward Me.  It is good that you make it clear to yourself exactly what the things are you are waiting upon Me for, and as you say definitely of each of them, “On Thee do I wait,“ you shall be emboldened to claim the answer… “For on Thee do I wait.”  

My child, you may have this confidence in approaching God: “If you make any request in agreement with My will, I will hear you.  And since you know I will hear you in whatever you ask, you can be sure, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that I will grant your request that is in agreement with My will you have made of Me.  Remember, though…there is an active power of faith that receives what is requested, or overcomes adversity by securing your deliverance, when these are in agreement with My will.  And there is a passive power of faith that accepts not receiving what is requested, or overcomes by patiently enduring the adversity, when granting your request, or deliverance, is not My will.  Genuine faith is triumphant both in its active and passive power, simply by an unquestioning child-like obedience to, and acceptance of, My will.   And **        **, I always act in accordance with My Own will.

Beloved…it must also be clear to you on Whom it is that you are waiting… the One True Living God, such as I really am in My Great Glory, My infinite Holiness, My Power, Wisdom, and Goodness, in My Love and nearness; the Lord God Almighty.  It is the Presence of God, as I in Christ Jesus My Son by My Holy Spirit make Myself known to you, and keep your soul under My covering and shadow, that will awaken and strengthen a true waiting spirit in you.  You need only be still and wait and worship, until you know how near I am, and then say with confident assurance, “On Thee do I wait.“  And then let it be clear that you are indeed patiently waiting: “On Thee I do wait all the day; I wait on Thee“…with a joyful expectation, an excited anticipation.  This will indeed imply sacrifice and separation, a soul entirely given up to God as your ALL, your only joy.

**        **, this waiting upon God has hardly yet been acknowledged amongst those who are called by My Name as the only true life of a child of the Most High God…a deep and intimate personal relationship with Me.  And yet, If you truly believe that I AM, and do, all that I Myself have revealed; if it be true that God alone is Goodness and Joy and Love; if it be true that your highest blessedness is in having as much of God as you can; if it be true that Christ My Son has redeemed you wholly for God, and made a life of continual abiding in My Presence possible, nothing less ought to satisfy than to be ever breathing this blessed atmosphere, “I wait on Thee.”  

Abba Father…Your Divine Son Jesus assured me, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be fully satisfied.  This is indeed the most intense desire of my heart, above everything else: my heart is inflamed with yearning to be holy as You are Holy, to be perfect as You are Perfect.  But Father…I understand; I realize and acknowledge: I cannot literally be holy and perfect as You are.  It is not humanly possible while I am still living in this body of flesh, and subject to the insistent desires of my sin-enslaved human nature.  In the power of my sin-enslaved human nature, I am hopelessly powerless, hopelessly impotent, hopelessly helpless to stand continually against the onslaught of temptations and sins…or to free myself from these sins.  The overriding characteristic of my sin-enslaved human nature is that it is enslaved by sin.  My human nature is held captive by sin, imprisoned by sin, in bondage to sin, enslaved by sin…and it has no desire whatsoever to be free of sin.  It likes sin, wants to continue living in sin, and refuses to give it up for You!  And it can’t be fixed; it must be crucified.

Abba Father, I know I can never attain righteousness by trying, by my own efforts and in my own strength…that any efforts on my part only serve to hinder Your Spirit from working righteousness in me.  Sanctification is the work of Your Holy Spirit, not mine.  My place is to hate sin, love righteousness, and cooperate with the work of Your Indwelling Holy Spirit, Who is the One Who works in me both the desire to obey Your will and the Power to do Your will.  You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions.

My beloved child, I counsel you to live your everyday manner of life in the Power and under the guidance of My Holy Spirit; then you will not gratify the desires of your sin-enslaved human nature.  Your heart is deceitful, and desperately wicked… your sin-enslaved human nature has a strong desire for its own will to be done and so to suppress My Holy Spirit, and My Spirit constantly has a strong desire for God’s will to be done and so to suppress your sin-enslaved human nature.  They are in conflict with each other, so that you are hindered by your sin-enslaved human nature from freely doing what you desire to do in obedience to My will.  But if you are living your life guided by My Holy Spirit, your life is no longer under the guidance of the demands of the Law, which has no power to suppress the desires of your sin-enslaved human nature.  For the Law of the Spirit of life in My Divine Son Jesus has set you free from the Law of sin and its resultant death.  The fruit produced by My Holy Spirit dwelling within you is love, joy, peace, patient endurance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no Law prohibiting such things as these…rather, they fully satisfy the demands of My Law.  Those who belong to Christ My Son have nailed the passions and desires of their sin-enslaved human nature to His cross and crucified them there.  Since you earnestly desire to live your everyday manner of life under the guidance of My Holy Spirit, be careful, then, to follow the Spirit’s guidance in every part of your life.

My child, your heart can be perfect; the ultimate standard for purity of heart is perfection of heart.  Purity, holiness, and righteousness…first of all and above all…is a matter of your heart.  It is in your hidden life within your heart…in your mind, your thoughts, your imagination…where a pure, holy, and righteous life has its roots.  True Christianity lies in the heart; the only righteousness acceptable to Me is purity of heart.  Without that purity, your physical life makes no difference.  My Divine evaluation takes place in your heart.  I judge the source and origin of sin, not its manifestation or lack of manifestation in your actual physical life.  Those who are truly My children will be motivated to purity.  The deepest desire of the redeemed child of God is for holiness, even when sin hinders the perfect fulfillment of that desire.  If you, for example, earnestly desire to commit an evil, but cannot, because I put time, place, and opportunity out of your power to do so, you are nevertheless guilty and fully chargeable with the iniquity of the act, for I search and judge the heart.  In the same way, if you earnestly desire to be righteous, which at times you fail to perform and commit sin, your desire is credited to you as righteousness, because I take the earnest desire of your heart for the deed.  Then, when you confesses your sins, I am faithful and just to forgive your sins, and I am faithful and just to cleanse you of all unrighteousness.

Abba Father…this is surely the blessed life of deep and intimate personal relationship with You: my waiting upon God…watching and waiting, looking off unto You and listening for Your voice…with an unwavering child-like trust and an unreserved child-like dependence, with a joyful expectation and an excited anticipation, for You to reveal Yourself to me ever more deeply and intimately, and Your plans, Your purposes, Your will for me…SO I MAY THEN RESPOND, with an unquestioning child-like obedience, to every leading and prompting of Your Holy Spirit, cooperating with the Power of His enabling grace Who works in me both to will and to do.  Blessed Holy Spirit…You are the Divine Nature dwelling in me, Whose Power in me continually guarantees and secures my capability to live my everyday life:
faithful to my solemn marriage vows as the bride of Christ;
faithfully within the Holy of Holies and the unclouded Presence of my Father in our Sacred Covenant relationship.
My soul, wait thou only upon God!  

REVIVAL  
My brothers and sisters in Christ…living in the Power of the indwelling Holy Spirit is the entire focus of our life-long Journey of Faith into the Holy of Holies.  It is intensely personal in nature…a heart-cry to God to touch my life by His Spirit and work a deep change in me.  Revival begins in my own heart.  Our Journey of Faith as resident aliens on this Earth [we are citizens of Heaven] demands a consecration of my heart to God, pleading with Him to bring revival, and to begin with me.   

• What is it that I am actually calling on God to do when I ask, “Lord, send revival?”  I am pleading with Him to pour out His Holy Spirit upon me…to bring a deep conviction of sin and to make me painfully and consciously aware of sin in my life.  I am crying out for Him to impress me with a deep need for Godly sorrow,  confession of sin, and repentance.  I am asking from the depths of my soul that He create a pure heart within me…a heart that is inflamed with yearning to live out my everyday life in a purity, holiness, and righteousness of my own that comes from obedience to His Law…in every thought I think, every word I speak, in everything I do.  I am telling Him that the deepest desire of my heart is to be holy as He is Holy; to be perfect as my Heavenly Father is perfect…just as He exhorts His children to be.  And I am asking to be filled with His Holy Spirit…that His Spirit would become a fountain within me, welling up, flooding my soul with torrents of Living water, ever flowing, continually overflowing, spilling over, touching the lives of everyone with whom I come into contact…that the Name of Jesus would be glorified through me, with me, and in me…to the praise of His glorious grace!   
• What can you fully expect God to do for you in answer to this cry of your heart?  He will make you miserable over sin in your life that you have heretofore been careless, complacent, and indifferent about, and He will make you painfully and consciously aware of sins that your heart…being deceitful and desperately wicked that it is…has hidden from you.  He will reprove His children, “Wash your hands, you sinners, and  purify your hearts, you double-minded!”  He will cause you to “Grieve, mourn and wail over your sins, and in true repentance change your laughter to tears of sorrow and your mirth to deep sadness as you grieve over your disloyalty!”  And He will lovingly urge you, “Humble yourself  before Me, and I will lift you up, encourage you, and help you!” [James 4:8-10]  He will lead you to confession of sin and true repentance, and to have the same desire for purity, holiness, and righteousness in your life that He desires for all His children: “As the One Who called you is Holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.  For  it is  written, ‘You  shall  be holy, for I am Holy;’” and, “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” [1 Peter 1:15-16; Mt 5:48]  He will grant you the desire of your heart for purity, holiness, and righteousness, because Christ Jesus assured you, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled” [Mt 5:6]  He has assured me that my longing will be completely satisfied, and I will be filled up to the measure of all the fullness of God…to the richest measure of His unclouded Presence, a soul wholly filled and flooded with God Himself! 
• There will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your life, according to His command, “Keep on continually being filled with the Spirit.” [Eph 5:18]
  You will experience the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in your  life…singing songs, hymns, and spiritual songs and making melody within your heart to God [v. 19].
  You will experience prayer, in accordance with God’s will, moving the hand of God,
  and you will experience the blessings that come from obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life.
  God will show you His Glory; you will see it with your own eyes, and you will thereby have occasion to testify to His great Name and mighty Power!  Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God! [Mt 5:8]  Hallelujah! 
• Wherefore brethren, having now boldness to enter into the Holy of Holies by the Blood of Jesus, by the way which He dedicated for us…a new and living way to God through the veil, that is to say, through the veil of His flesh…let us then without further hesitation or delay draw nigh in fullness of faith; here let us continually abide in the fullness of faith. [Heb 10:19-20, 22]  Those who abide in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [PS 91:1]  Hallelujah! 

Absolute Surrender:

Are you prepared to go into the Garden that Jesus went to that night of His betrayal, and to walk along the path He was called to walk in demonstration of His love for the Father?  Our Lord Jesus asks of me…of each one of us…“Do you love Me with an agape love?”  Have you set your heart to walk along the path of obedience and suffering, self-sacrifice and self-denial, death to sin and death to self?  It is the path Jesus walked and the way which He Personally dedicated for us…a new and living way to God, through the veil, that is to say, through the veil of the flesh…my sin-enslaved human nature.  It is not humanly possible to walk that path; only the Holy Spirit can set you free to walk that path, in His Power and in reliance upon His strength.  You can’t do it apart from Him.  It is the ONLY path that leads up to the Gate that opens into the Heavenly Sanctuary and into the Holy of Holies…into the inaccessible Light of the Glory of our Father’s unclouded Presence.  The Gate bears on its header the inscription “THY WILL BE DONE.”  No one  can walk through that Gate without first checking his/her own will there with the gatekeeper in absolute and unconditional surrender.

Blessed Holy Spirit…I freely lay my life on the altar of sacrifice, giving You free reign over the course and direction of my life on Earth.  As such, I no longer have any possessions of my own; all that I have belongs to You.  I have no plans of my own; I am here solely and only, wholly and always, to do Your will.  I have no privileges, no  expectations, no rights, no honor; I am Your bond-servant.  My time belongs entirely to You; I have no desires of my own heart, no purposes of my own for my life.  You are Lord of my life, and I live wholly surrendered to Your plans, Your purposes, Your will.  All of my motives, my attitudes, my dispositions are subservient to You.  Blessed Jesus…I have no attractions to the people of this world, nor the things this world has to offer, that compete with my attraction to You.  You are the choicest, most precious treasure of my heart.  I have no affections for the people of this world, nor the things this world has to offer, that compete with my affections for You.  I have reserved for You alone my sweetest, most tender affections.  I am wholly Yours, and You are wholly mine…wholly surrendered unto God, wholly given for the blessing and salvation of souls.  My heart longs to be inflamed with yearning for God alone…to pour out my soul, my life, my all for You!

Destruction Of America: Preparation Of Way For Anti-christ

Brethren…the following selected news articles from just the past week are only a snap-shot…only the tip of the iceberg…of what has been happening every single day for the past 31 months!  The moral, spiritual, and social degradation of our Nation is so universal and  utterly complete…off the charts…it is impossible to keep up with it…let alone document it!

End Times Of Biblical Prophesy
We are currently living in the End Times prophesied in Scripture.

• News article: Famed Religious Leader Dr. Michael Youssef Says the End Is Near.  The authoritarian lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic prepared the world for the coming of the Antichrist.  The “Is The End Near?: What Jesus Told Us About the Last Days” author pointed out that “people complied very quickly” with authoritarianism, not just in the United States, but around the world.  What the global epidemic, at least for me, showed us this incredible proclivity on the part of so many so-called Western democracies who immediately turn into becoming authoritarians, into authoritarianism regimes, whether it be in Melbourne, Australia, which are very familiar with that country.  My wife is from Australia, or whether it be in Canada, where one pastor just only opened the church.  He didn’t even have people.  He just opened the door and immediately went to prison.  And in Sydney, Australia, where if you are if you’re five miles away from home and they catch you on those one of those cameras, you get arrested and go to jail.  And so when you see these things in England, my goodness gracious, all this stuff that was happening.
  And so when you see all of that is happening, you say, you know, the world is being prepared for the Antichrist, because not only that, authoritarianism just popped up so fast, so quickly, but people complied very quickly, too.  They became sheep all of a sudden.  When the Antichrist comes, as John talks about in his epistles and his revelation, you’re going to see the people already prepared to comply, to follow, especially the fact that he’s described as a very, very charming, very mesmerizing person who will even performs miracles.  And so you can also, by the same token, just as Satan is preparing the world for the Antichrist, that God is preparing His elect from every corner of the globe for his return.  And so that excites me.  It really doesn’t frighten me at all.  That gives me absolutely shivers in the back of my spine, looking up and knowing that my day of redemption is drawing near…and I want to take as many people to heaven with me as I can possibly reach with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  News article: Tony Perkins Reveals the Greatest Problem Facing America.  I could talk about the abortion issue, but let me tell you what I think is the greatest threat to our nation: the lack of moral courage.  We need people who know the truth and are willing to stand for the truth and in the culture in which we live.  You’ve got to have a firm foundation.  And that begins as unapologetically Christians…a relationship with Jesus Christ, solid in your faith, able to stand against the cultural forces that are sweeping across our land.  That’s, to me, the greatest threat to our nation. 
  News article: Christianity quickly diminishing in US, on pace to become minority religion in just a few decades.  A recently released study suggests the number of Christians in the U.S. is diminishing quickly and being replaced by those who do not identify with any religion.  A new report by Pew Research Center and the General Social Survey published Tuesday found a surge of adults leaving Christianity to become atheist, agnostic or “nothing in particular.”  It predicted that if the number of Christians under 30 abandoning their faith accelerates beyond the current pace, adherents of the historically dominant religion of the U.S. could become a minority by 2045.

INIQUITIES OF THE FATHERS VISITED UPON THE CHILDREN

One of the curses of Deuteronomy 28 that our Nation’s founding fathers warned would apply to America as well [as the Israelites]: If you disobey the Lord your God and do not faithfully keep all His commands and laws that I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you in accordance with God’s solemn resolve to punish you as you deserve for disobeying Him.
Children kidnapped: Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, and you will wear out your eyes watching for them day after day, powerless to lift a hand.  You will have sons and daughters but you will not keep them, because they will go into captivity. [Deut 28:32-33, 41-42]
THIS JUDGMENT HAS COME UPON AMERICA!  An entire generation of children has been brainwashed, indoctrinated, and poisoned.  This is God’s judgment visited upon the children to the 3rd and 4th generation, and it is a punishment brought about because of the iniquity of the fathers.  They were careless, complacent, and indifferent toward their responsibility to protect the moral and spiritual well-being of their children.  

• News article: New Jersey schools by a newly passed State Law must teach middle schoolers as young as 13 years old about anal sex, pregnancy options…or risk ‘disciplinary action.’  One school superintendent warned schools could lose federal funding if they fail to implement new sex ed standards.  The standards were adopted by the New Jersey Board of Education in June 2020, and schools are required to implement them beginning this month. Amid concern from parents and school districts, the State Department of Education has warned that schools who fail to implement the new standards may face discipline.
  News article: In Chicago, the city’s largest children’s hospital offers ‘kink’ and ‘trans-friendly’ sex toys for minors.  The largest children’s hospital in Chicago has created partnerships with local school districts to promote radical gender theory, “kink,” “BDSM,” and “trans-friendly” sex toys for children.  The collaboration between Lurie’s Children’s Hospital of Chicago and gender activists is very troubling.
  News article: Google Is Like ‘a Stranger Watching Your Child Through Their Bedroom Window.’  Google’s primary business is tracking, compiling, storing and selling personal data.  By capturing children at an early age, the tech giant will be able to build the most comprehensive personality profiles of the population ever conceived by the time they reach adulthood.
  *  More than half of American K-12 schools use Chromebooks and Google apps, allowing Google to build brand loyalty from an early age.
  *  By the time these children have grown into adulthood, every single preference, thought, belief and proclivity will be known about them, which will make them extremely vulnerable to manipulation.
  *  Google allows hundreds of third-party software developers to access the emails of Gmail users, and they’re not just using software to scan for keywords.  In some cases, employees are actually reading the emails.
  *  By default, Google Chrome allows any and all tracker cookies to follow your every move online.

mRNA VACCINES: BIO-WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION

• News article: 1.4 Million Adverse Events After COVID Vaccines Reported to VAERS.  Canadian Woman Dies 7 Minutes After Bivalent Booster Shot.  VAERS data released Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show 1,418,220 reports of adverse events from all age groups following COVID-19 vaccines, including 31,074 deaths and 258,480 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020, and Sept. 16, 2022.  And what is reported to VAERS is only the tip of the iceberg…you need to multiply these numbers by a factor of 41 [in other words, 31,074 X 41 = 1,274,034 estimated mRNA covid vaccine deaths].
  News article: How the CDC Uses Math to Hide COVID Vaccine Harm.  Proportional reporting ratio, or PRR, is a fraudulent measure of vaccine harm, designed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention expressly for the new COVID-19 vaccines to disguise the devastation the vaccines are causing.
  News article: CDC Report Blames Pregnancy-Related Deaths on Heart, Mental Health Issues, But No Mention of Vaccines as Possible Risk Factor.  The U.S. has long had the dubious distinction of leading other wealthy nations in infant and child mortality.  Shamefully, it is not just babies and young children who are at a disadvantage compared to their counterparts in peer nations, but also American moms-to-be and new moms, with the U.S. having the highest maternal mortality rate of any developed country.
  News article: US Life Expectancy Falls Sharply Again in ‘Historic’ Decline.  This phenomenon of historic declines began immediately after the mRNA vaccines were rolled out.  

 GOD HAS DESTROYED THE CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC OF AMERICA

• News article: 30 FBI Agents Storm House, Arrest Well-Respected Pro-Life Author.  As many as 30 heavily-armed FBI agents swarmed the Pennsylvania home of a well-respected pro-life author and Catholic leader.  Dozens of agents surrounded the home of Mark Houck with weapons drawn…terrifying the man’s wife and seven children.  “They had big, huge rifles pointed at Mark and pointed at me and kind of pointed throughout the house,” Ryan-Marie Houck told LifeSiteNews.com.  “The kids were all just screaming.  It was all just very scary and traumatic.”  Sources tell the Todd Starnes radio broadcast that Houck was placed in shackles as agents had guns pointed at his face.  His terrified children were reportedly watching from a staircase.  And what was his crime that they would storm his house with an attack force of armed commandos?  Agents said they were arresting Houck because he reportedly “shoved” a pro-abortion activist who had confronted his 12-year-old son outside an abortion clinic last October.  The alleged “victim” tried to sue Houck, but the case was thrown out of court.  So, why, exactly did Attorney General Merrick Garland send a small army to arrest a prominent member of the pro-life community?  The Biden Administration needs to explain why they are sending armored carriers and squads of agents to bully and harass pro-lifers.
  News article: WEF Proposes Globalized Plan to Police Online Content Using Artificial Intelligence.  The World Economic Forum this month published an article calling for an online censorship system powered by a combination of artificial and human intelligence that one critic suggested would “globalize” the “search for wrongthink.”  In other words, that would literally put an end to our Constitutional right of free speech.  We would only be allowed to read about, or write, what is line with their Great Reset ideology.
  News article: Venezuela Empties Prisons and Sends Criminals to US Border.  Venezuela is deliberately releasing prisoners, among them violent criminals, and has them travel to the U.S. southern border where the Biden Administration has intentionally allowed nearly 5 million illegal aliens to enter unhindered.  That the decision by the Nicolas Maduro regime in Venezuela has put the United States “in grave danger.”
  News article: 4.9 Million Illegal Aliens Crossed US Border in 18 Months Since Biden Took Office.  A total of 4.9 million illegal aliens, including some 900,000 “gotaways” who evaded apprehension and have since disappeared into American communities, have entered the country by the end of July, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) said in a statement on Aug. 16.  “Roughly the equivalent of the entire population of Ireland has illegally entered the United States in the 18 months President Biden has been in office, with many being released into American communities,” FAIR President Dan Stein said in the press release.
  Two million illegal aliens have entered the country in the first 10 months of this financial year alone, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).  In June, more than 207,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S.–Mexico border, making this the highest number of June apprehensions in history.
  News article: Massive Explosion at Ohio BP Refinery, Injuries Reported.  According to BP’s website, “the refinery can produce 3.8 million gallons of gasoline, 1.3 million gallons of diesel fuel, and 600,000 gallons of jet fuel.”  Do you really think this was accidental?…just an “unfortunate coincidence” that it has to do with fossil fuel production?  Only a moron would believe that.  It is the on-going intentional destruction of the fossil fuel industry in America by the Biden Administration.
  News article: John Kerry: Inflation Reduction Act ‘amazing’ bill but ‘I’m not sure how much it has to do with inflation.’  John Kerry lauded bill for paving way for private sector to take lead for what it does for green energy and combating climate change…in other words, to destroy America’s fossil fuel industry, which is part of the Great Reset that is preparing the way for the Anti-christ.
  News article: ECONOMY Published September 22, 2022.  Delivery robots emerge to bridge gaps as labor shortage drags on.  Autonomous machines are cropping up in public spaces as businesses struggle to find human workers.
  News article: Teen Republican Killed Because of His Political Beliefs.  A North Dakota man charged with killing a Republican teenager by plowing him down in an alley with his SUV reportedly told police it was over the teen’s “Republican extremist” views.  The teenage boy’s death comes two weeks after Biden’s speech labeling MAGA Republicans as “semi-fascists.”  Joe Biden doubled down on his disgust for conservatives…telling a crowd of Democrats that all MAGA Republicans are a threat to the country.  He said we are extremists.  The same language used a few days ago when a North Dakota man mowed down Republican teenager Cayler Ellingson.  He reportedly told investigators that he committed the crime because he thought the boy was a Republican extremist.
  News article: Biden administration makes move towards a digital dollar.  WASHINGTON — The Biden Administration is moving one step closer to developing a central bank digital currency, known as the digital dollar.  If that happens, it will be the last nail in the coffin of freedom. 
  News article: Air Force Tells Cadets to Stop Using Words Like ‘Mom’ and ‘Dad.’  A diversity and training seminar instructs cadets to use words that include all genders.  Consider using words like parents or caregiver instead of mother or father.  That’s what the Air Force recommends.  So instead of writing home to mom and dad…cadets are supposed to address their letters to parent number one and parent number two?  Our military has become the laughing stock of the world…part of God’s judgment to destroy America.

He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead as a visible badge to show their allegiance to their infernal lord, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the Beast or the number of his name! • The vaccine mandate with its “VACCINE PASSPORT/DIGITAL ID,” without which you won’t be able to buy or sell…your kids won’t be able to attend school, you will not be allowed to go to work, or go into any store or facility open to the public, or travel anywhere, or attend any sporting events or live entertainment, or to enter movie theaters, or do anything…is the forerunner of, and preparation for, the mark of the Beast. 
• The GLOBAL RESET with its one world government and one world financial system…now being ushered in through the on-going destruction of the Constitutional Republic of America which stood in the way of the principles and dictates of the Anti-christ…is the preparation of the way for the coming rule and reign of the Anti-christ.

There were 5 chilling prophetic dreams posted by Pastor Dana Cornerstone that portrayed the utter destruction of America.  I have been writing about this nearly every day for 18 months already, and so they are not really prophesy, they are a confirmation of the Holy Spirit of what is already taking place!

• Lincoln Dream:  Abraham Lincoln was hanged by Uncle Sam, who was forced to do so by the ruling government powers.  Then Uncle Sam died as well…of a broken heart.
  In the dream, God had this to say:
  To Lincoln: They didn’t have any Idea what they were doing, and now the Nation needs to brace itself for what they deserve.This is a symbolic representation…an allegory…of what has taken place with the death of America, God’s imminent judgment of wrath He is about to pour out upon this Nation, and warning to His people to “anchor your soul.”

Lord God Almighty, when Your judgments come upon the Earth…as they are even now…the people of the world learn righteousness.  Though God shows grace to the wicked, even so, they still do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they continue going on doing evil, and regard not the Majesty of the Lord. [Luke 21:26; Isa 26:10]
But if the watchman sees the danger coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people, and the sword comes and takes the life of even one of them, that one will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood. [Ezek 33:6]  Lord God Almighty, as Your watchman I have been solemnly fulfilling the responsibility You have given me in sounding the alarm to warn Your people; there will be no blood on my hands.

I love my Country; I grew up here, and worked here, and enjoyed the freedoms we were given here.  Even so…this Country is no longer the Country I grew up in.  It has become something else…something totally different, something strange and foreign to me.  We are a Nation no longer under the rule and Authority of God, and as a result so horribly transformed from what our Founding Fathers envisioned and birthed.  Once a great and respected Christian Nation, God has made us the laughingstock of the world.  This is what the Sovereign Lord said to Moses concerning the Israelites, and our Nation’s founding fathers warned it would apply to America as well: If you disobey the Lord your God and do not faithfully keep all His commands and laws that I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you in accordance with God’s solemn resolve to punish you as you deserve for disobeying Him. 
Cursed shall you be in the city and

The Lord will send upon you curses…calamitous events such as fires, floods, earthquakes, or pestilence that happen suddenly with a huge loss of life.
He will bring confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking Him. [Deut 15-16, 19-20]

[Rom 1:22]  He has caused their thinking to become utterly confused…just as He had warned…so that they actually believe they are acting in wisdom while they are in reality literally destroying the Nation!  You see it unfolding before your very eyes every day!  The Lord will cause you to lose your mind in idiocy, and strike you with wild and helpless fear and panic; He will make you become blind and cause your minds and hearts to be confused. [Deut 28:28]

• Perhaps God is now forewarning of something worse yet to come, even Nationwide…a cyber attack shutting down our electric grid, or severe food shortages resulting from cargo ships stranded unloaded in our harbors…I don’t know; I can’t answer that.  Even so…This is where I continue to stand.  I don’t know why God has been exhorting me to continually warn the brethren to be prepared with a supply of food and necessities…but I am not giving up my own provisions at this point in time.  I am holding on, and I will wait and see what takes place.

  A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep on going, and suffer for it. [Proverbs 22:3] 
  The Lord always warns His holy remnant beforehand, so that they will always be prepared and never taken by surprise like the unbelievers and the lukewarm.  Make provision for yourself and your family materially, spiritually, and emotionally NOW for what the Lord is warning will take placeso as to not be overwhelmed by a severe scarcity of goods, and thereby spiral into debilitating emotional depression!
  You need to be prepared and available as a minister of the Lord to a dying world: Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the Word of life. [Phil 2:14-16]  We have been raised up by the Lord for such a time as this!  

But if the watchman sees the danger coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people, and the sword comes and takes the life of even one of them, that one will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood. [Ezek 33:6]  Lord God Almighty, as Your watchman I have been solemnly fulfilling the responsibility You have given me in sounding the alarm to warn Your people; there will be no blood on my hands. 

Beloved…I still hold to these words of warning from the Holy Spirit:  “Brace yourself, and tell others that I have warned them to brace themselves, for they are about to see even more shocking things.  Ready or not, Nation, here it comes!  Brace yourself on My Word and on My promises, and do not rely on your own strength.  Do not stop bracing yourselves, and don’t look back; the storm will not pass until I, the Lord, stop the storm!  Those who refuse to get ready will be wanting in the end.”

This is what the Most Holy, Most High, Triune God declares:
The Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.  The heavens will  disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire.  Since everything on the Earth will be destroyed in this way, you ought to live a holy and godly life as you look forward to the coming Day of the Lord!  Everyone who has this hope purifies himself, just as He is pure.  So, beloved, since you are expecting these things to happen, be eager to be found by Him at His coming living a pure and blameless life and at peace…in serene confidence, free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts.  Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked persons.  I don’t want you to lose your own secure footing.  But grow in the special favor and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.  But just as He Who called you is Holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am Holy.” [2 Peter 3:3-4, 10-12, 14, 17; 1 John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:14-16; Ezek 12:22-23] 

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.  As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.  That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.  But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.  So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. [Matt 24:36-39, 42-44]   

“Behold”, says the Lord Jesus in His last warning for the last opportunity offered to mankind to be among His redeemed, “I come for the last time like a thief in the night to gather those who would be among the elect!  Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, in watchfulness, prayer and readiness for the summons when it comes, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed, eternally without remedy.” 

Friends, brothers and sisters…

There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell.  You must be a born-again child of God.  I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom.  I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]

If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”

SPIRITUAL BRIDE OF CHRIST

Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Divine Son in the Triune God, the Lamb of God Who came into this world to become the One only, all-sufficient, atoning sacrifice through His death on a cross and subsequent resurrection, thereby securing forgiveness for your sins and restoring your relationship with God that had been severed by sin?

Do you now solemnly vow before God to give yourself to be the bride of Christ, receiving Jesus the Christ into your life in a spiritual marriage, promising to honor and obey Him as both Lord over your life and Savior of your soul?

To be joined inseparably together with Him in a Sacred Covenant relationship…an eternal living union of oneness through the new life to be conceived in you by the Holy Spirit…

To have and to hold Him, above all others and above all else this world has to offer, as the choicest, most precious treasure of your heart…

To love and to cherish Him, above all others and above all else this world has to offer, reserving for Him alone your sweetest, most tender affections…

For better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, all the days of your life, until death of this body brings you to be together with Him in Heaven for all eternity?

Revelation 20:1-15 [NIV; Amplification in Italics]

And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven…the Angel of Yahweh…the Lord Jesus Christ Himself…having the key to the Abyss and holding in His hand a great chain.  He seized the Dragon, that ancient Serpent, who is the Devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.  He threw him into the Abyss…that prison in which evil spirits are detained prior to their final judgment…and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended.  After that, he must be set free for a short time.

I saw thrones on which were seated all those resurrected saints who are His called, chosen and faithful followers…those who had been assembled together to form the armies of Heaven, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean…His glorious bride…who had now been given authority to judge and to shepherdize the nations along with Him as He had promised: “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My Throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His Throne.”  And I saw among them the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the Word of God.  They had not worshiped the Beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands.  They were especially noteworthy among those who came to resurrection life and now reigned as kings and priests over the nations along with Christ for a thousand years.  [The rest of the dead…those who are not among His called, chosen and faithful followers…did not come to resurrection life until the thousand years were ended].  This is the completion of the period of the first  resurrection.  Blessed and holy are those who alone have part in the first resurrection…a resurrection out from the dead, and a translation of those still living, who belong to Christ…His glorious bride!  The second death has no power over them, but they will be unerring and immortal kings and priests of God and of Christ, shepherdizing the nations…ruling over them to direct, instruct, and feed them with all the loving care of angels, but shall rule them with a rod of iron in their hands to enforce docility, obedience, and unreserved surrender to all the laws and requirements of the Lord God Almighty…and they will reign with Him for a thousand years!

When the thousand years are over, the loyalty and devotion of the nations, who had now experienced a heavenly life of peace and prosperity under the blessed shepherdizing of the Lord Jesus and His immortal co-regents, are again to be tested.  Satan will be released from his prison and will go out once again, for the last time, to deceive the nations in the most remote  four corners of the Earth…Gog and Magog…to gather them together for battle,  believing the lie that they can overthrow the rule and authority of the Lord’s immortal and glorified saints.  In number they are like the sand on the seashore.  They marched across the breadth of the Earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the City He loves.  But fire came down from Heaven and instantly, utterly, devoured them.  And the Devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the Beast and the False Prophet had been thrown a thousand years before, to be imprisoned there forever and ever, where they will be tormented day and night forever and ever, without end.  Thus ends the last rebellion ever seen upon this planet…the last sin, and the last deaths, that ever occur in this dwelling-place of man. 

Then I saw a great white Throne, awe-filled with immeasurable power, and of pure, complete, unmingled, and invincible justice, and Him Who was unnamable, indescribable, and Eternal Godhead seated on it.  Earth and sky seemed to have fled into an insignificant nothingness from the overwhelming Almightiness of His Presence, and there seemingly was no place for them!  And I saw the resurrection of damnation of the rest of the dead, those who did not have part in the first resurrection, both the great and small, standing before the Throne, brought forth from all the depositories of the souls and bodies of the unholy dead, and books were opened wherein were fully recorded every thought, every word, every deed, every attitude, every motive, every secret and most hidden thing, of every person who ever breathed Earth’s atmosphere.  Included therein also were the deeds of goodness and morality of those who thought to stand before God on their own merit…who never felt the need of atonement by the propitiation of a crucified Savior, and who thus disdained to build on the merit and righteousness of the One only Mediator as the sole hope of a guilty and diseased humanity.  Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life…the roll-book of the regenerate in Christ Jesus…the register of the washed and sanctified through faith in His redeeming Blood.  The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.  The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged and condemned  according to, and in proportion to, the degree of sinfulness of what he had done.  Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire, as had been the Beast, the False Prophet, and the Devil before them. The lake of fire is the second death…an eternal living-death of unimaginable woe, pain, and dreadful torment of both body and spirit, day and night, unceasing, forever and ever.  If anyone’s name was not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.  [Revelation 20:1-15]  

Following are several portions of Scripture dealing with the Mark of the Beast:

• Revelation 13:16-20
  He [the False Prophet] was given power to give breath to the image of the first Beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.  He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead as a visible badge to show their allegiance to their infernal lord, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark. The mark of the Beast consisted of the two Greek characters that stand for the name of Christ, with a third, the figure of a crooked serpent, put between them (CHXS)…the very name of God’s Messiah transformed into a devil sacrament, which is the name of the Beast or the number of his name!
  This calls for wisdom, so as to detect and discern the moral degradation and anti-Christian principles characterizing the spirit of the Anti-christ which lay people open to his power, and the subtle atheism and unfaith by which people are betrayed into his hands, already working so powerfully in so many deceptive forms about us.  If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the Beast, for it is man’s number denoting evil in its greatest intensity and most disastrous manifestations.  His number is 666.
  Thus we have the full embodiment of all evil now revealed and operative on the Earth, manifested in an infernal trinity, the mimicry of eternal realities.
  First, is the unseen and hidden father, the Dragon, that old serpent, the Devil.
  The next is the seven-headed and ten-horned Beast from the sea, “the Son of Perdition,” begotten of the Devil, his Earthly manifestation, who dies, and revives again, and reappears on Earth after having been in the invisible world, as Christ, and is awarded the power and throne of his father the Devil.
  And to this comes a third, the two-horned Beast from the Earth, who proceeds from the Dragon father and Dragon son, for his speech is the Dragon’s speech, and “he exercises all the authority of the first Beast in his presence,” carrying into living effect the Satanic will of both the father and the son.
  Thus, we perceive three distinct personalities…the Devil, the Anti-christ, and “The False Prophet;” and these three are one…one vital essence, one economy, and one administration.  The Dragon sets up as the anti-God; the ten-horned Beast, his son, is the anti-Christ; and the two-horned Beast, proceeding from and operating in the interest of both, is the anti-Holy Spirit.  And these three together are Hell’s trinity in unity, the Devil’s unity in trinity!  
• Revelation 14:9-12
  A third angel followed them…preaching and crying a most intense and solemn warning with all the power and eloquence of angels…and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the Beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of His wrath!He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb!  And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever!  There is no rest day or night for those who worship the Beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name!”  This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus, refusing to worship the Beast or to accept his mark upon themselves. 
• Revelation 14:17-20
  Another Angel came out of the Temple, the Temple in Heaven, this being the Angel of Yahweh Himself, and in His capacity as the Angel of the Temple…the Great High Priest…He too had a sharp sickle.  Still another angel, who had charge of the altar-fire…that fire of Divine justice which ever burns against sin and sinners…came forth from the altar of Yahweh’s temple on the Earth, and he also called in a loud voice to Him who had the sharp sickle, likewise crying out for vengeance against the Anti-christ as did the first angel from the temple, “Take Your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the Earth’s vine, because its grapes of wickedness are ripe to the full for judgment.”  The Angel swung His sickle on the Earth, gathered the vine of the Earth rooted in the Anti-christ that stands in opposition to the vine of Christ, laden with its grapes that are the children of wickedness, and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath.  They were trampled in the winepress outside the now consecrated and Holy City Jerusalem, in the Valley of Megiddo… Armageddon.  The kings of the Earth and of the whole world, and their armies, are utterly consumed…and a river of human blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia (180 miles)!  Thus was brought to a conclusion the great and terrible Day of the Lord, in which God fulfilled His intention to consume all opposition and to take vengeance upon the enemies and usurpers who occupy the Earth…a more detailed account of which is now to follow.   

ENDURE TO THE END

Behold, I am coming quickly.  Hold on to what you have, so that no one will deprive you of your crown.  Everyone who overcomes by means of their faith…I will make a pillar in the Sanctuary of My God.  Never again will you leave it.  I will write on you the name of My God and you will be a citizen in the city of My God…the new Jerusalem…which will come down out of Heaven from My God; I will also write on you My Own new name.
