Therefore, My beloved child, since Christ My Son has suffered in the flesh, arm yourself also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has turned his back on sin, and no longer has any desire to keep on sinning.  From now on, then, you must live the rest of your Earthly life controlled by My will and not by human desires. [Father God…1 Peter 4:1-2]

Others endured torture and refused to be released in exchange for denying their faith, looking forward instead to the promised resurrection to a better life.  Some suffered the trial of jeers and flogging, while still others endured being chained and put in prison.  They endured being stoned to death; they endured being lured with tempting offers to renounce their faith; they endured being sawed in two; they endured being put to death by the sword.  They endured being forced to go about wrapped in sheepskins and goatskins, utterly destitute, persecuted and mistreated…the world was not worthy of them. They endured wandering in deserts and mountains, living in caves and holes in the ground. [Heb 11:35-38]

**        **, greatly beloved…have you never understood in your mind and embraced in your heart the true nature of faith?  Genuine faith is triumphant both in its power to victoriously overcome and conquer, and in its power to persevere and endure, even unto death.  In one case, it conquers the enemy or the difficulty be securing its removal or destruction.  In the other, there is no deliverance from the trouble, and yet faith conquers in the power it receives to endure, and to prove that its spirit is superior to all that men or devils can do.

Consider My hero’s of faith illustrated in Heb 11:35-38 above.  I have given you these examples of those who triumphed over extraordinary suffering, that you might learn from them how to bear your ordinary and far lesser trials.  They faithfully endured extreme hardships, because they were looking forward to the promised resurrection to a better life.

Consider My Divine Son Jesus, the Author and perfecter of your faith, Who for the joy set before Him, endured the cross, heedless of its shame [Heb 12:2]  Christ My Son is your preeminent example of faith; He lived the supreme life of faith.  He was “tempted in all things as you are, yet without sin.” (Heb 4:15)  When the devil tempted Him in the wilderness, Jesus’ reply each time was the expression of trust in His Father and My Word.  Jesus would not bypass His Father’s will just to get food, or to test His Father’s protection or lordship (Matt 4:1-10).  He would wait until His Father supplied or protected or directed.  When the ordeal was over, I did provide by sending angels to minister to Him.  He trusted His Father implicitly, for everything and in everything: “I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My Own will, but the will of Him Who sent Me.” [John 5:30]

Child of God!  Suffering is God’s furnace where perfection is wrought.  My Divine Son Jesus, in the character of His human nature, was made perfect through suffering.  In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for Whom and through Whom everything exists, should make the Author of their salvation perfect through suffering. [Heb 2:10]

Suffering is God’s school of obedience.  Christ My Son, in the character of His human nature, also learned obedience from what He suffered.  Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered and, once made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him. [Heb 5:8-10]  Jesus was totally obedient to His Father…the very point of Adam’s failure and sin…even unto death, a death on the cross!  And having taken upon Himself a human nature, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death…even death on a cross! [Phil 2:8]

My child…your “faith” is not proven to be genuine faith until it withstands the furnace of affliction…until it endures the fire.  These testings have come in order that the genuineness of your faith, which faith is examined by testing for the purpose of being proven genuine…that approval being much more precious than the fire-testing of gold to prove its genuineness and which, even so, perishes…may be found, after scrutiny, to result in praise, glory, and honor at the time of the revelation of Jesus Christ. [1 Pet 1:7]

**        **, trust yourself completely to Me.  Whenever you suffer adversity because it is My will for you, keep on doing what is right, and entrust your life to the God Who created you, for I will never fail you.  I always keep My promises!  For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ My Son also suffered for you, leaving you His Personal example for you to follow in His footsteps. [1 Peter 4:19, 2:21]

Friends, brothers and sisters…

There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell.  You must be a born-again child of God.  I tell you the truth, unless one is born again, he cannot be in God’s Kingdom.  I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]

If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”
