My beloved child, I assure you…You may have this confidence in approaching God: “If you make any request in agreement with My will, I shall hear you. And since you know that I will hear you in whatever you ask, you may be sure, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that I shall grant you the request that is in agreement with My will you have made of Me.” [Father God…1 John 5:14-15]
** **, greatly beloved, prompted and actuated by faith, My servant Abel offered to God a better and more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which sacrifice it was testified that he was righteous and in right standing with God, My bearing witness by accepting and acknowledging his gifts. And though he died, yet through the sacrifice he is still speaking. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had witness borne to him that he was righteous, God bearing witness in respect of his gifts: and through it he being dead yet speaketh. [Heb 11:4]
As Abel worshiped with his eye on the dying lamb he had brought before God as a sacrificial offering, he had witness borne to him that he was righteous. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin. [Heb 9:22] And so it is with you, My child: as with your eye on the dying Sacrificial Lamb of God you worship, the witness comes to you by My Holy Spirit that you are righteous. Cain brought his offering without death and without blood…the spirit and religion of the world: without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for sin. [Heb 9:22] As such, Cain’s offering was not acceptable to God.
If you would learn what faith is and how you can grow strong in faith, My child, you must mark well that the very first step is: sacrifice. By faith Abel offered a more excellent sacrifice. In Abel, you see Christ My Son, the crucified, and how faith appropriates the death of the Lamb as your substitution, thereby bringing the witness of God of your atonement, justification, and acceptance before Me. In Abel you see how faith makes death to self the path to life. The Abel blessing is in drawing nigh unto God, and into an abiding, continuous fellowship with God, through death. Wherefore brethren, having now boldness to enter into the Holy of Holies, by the way which He dedicated for us, a new and living way to God, through the veil, that is to say, through the veil of His flesh, let us then draw nigh in fullness of faith; here let us continually abide in the fullness of faith. [Heb 10:19, 22]
The altar of sacrifice has a dual purpose. On the one hand, there is substitution and atonement. The Sacrificial Lamb was placed on the altar of sacrifice as your substitution, Christ My Son having taken upon His Own Self your sins and guilt. Through the shedding of His Blood in a sacrificial death, He paid the penalty for your sins that you should have paid, and bore the punishment for your sins that you should have suffered…for the wages of sin is death [Rom 6:23] He thereby made atonement for your sins before God, satisfying God’s righteous justice against sin on your behalf. Having been freed of your sins by the Blood of the Lamb, you now stand before God fully justified…holy and righteous in My sight, without spot or wrinkle or blemish. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. [Rom 4:25]
The other half of the dual purpose of the altar of sacrifice is self and consecration. In your living union of oneness with Christ Jesus My Son, you place your self on the altar of sacrifice as an offering unto God…but not for sin. You offer your self-life unto death… death to sin and death to self; self-sacrifice and self-denial; obedience and suffering. Through your sacrificial death to self, you become wholly, only, always consecrated unto God…wholly surrendered unto God, wholly given for the blessings and salvation of souls.
Friends, brothers and sisters…
There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell. You must be a born-again child of God. I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom. I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]
If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”
Run to Him:
