Beloved…continually wash your robes in the Blood of Jesus; wash your garments that have been soiled with sin, making them clean again, dazzling and white. Wash your feet with pure water; wash the dust of sin off your feet. Continually and diligently do these things, that you may always abide with Me in the Holy of Holies, in the inaccessible Light of the Glory of My unclouded Presence. [Father God…Rev 19:7-9]
9th MOSES: THE DECISION OF FAITH. By choice, rather than keeping his physical eyes on these visible, temporal things, he kept his eyes of faith on the future reward that God would give him.
Separation from the world
The great cause of the weakness of faith in my everyday life is that there is no separation from the world. Most Christians…including all too often myself…although in the world as all are, desire to be of the world as well, enjoying the things that this world has to offer…at least to the extent that is consistent with my conscience. Oftentimes they, as well as I, have forgotten my marriage vows to Christ:
I do believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Divine Son in the Triune God, the Lamb of God Who came into this world to become the one only, all-sufficient, atoning sacrifice through His death on a cross and subsequent resurrection, thereby securing forgiveness for my sins and restoring my relationship with God.
I do now solemnly vow before God to give myself to be the bride of Christ, receiving Jesus the Christ into my life in a spiritual marriage, promising to honor and obey Him as both Lord over my life and Savior of my soul;
to be joined together with Him in a Sacred Covenant relationship…an eternal living union of oneness through the regeneration wrought in me by the Holy Spirit;
to have and to hold Him, above all others and above all else this world has to offer, as the choicest, most precious treasure of my heart;
to love and to cherish Him, above all others and above all else this world has to offer, reserving for Him alone my sweetest, most tender affections;
for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, all the days of my life, until death of this body brings me to be together with Him in Heaven for all eternity.
The disciple who would be as his Lord is not of the world even as I am not of the world [John 17:16], and is one who proclaims, “Far be it from me to glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world hath been crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” [Gal 6:14-15]
Sold out for Christ
Do you desire to live in the friendship and favor of God, and to enter into the Holy of Holies to abide there in a deep and intimate personal relationship with the Father in Christ? Do you desire to be an instrument and a power of blessing, a man like Moses, strong in faith? The only pathway is…I am to seek to be perfectly separate from the spirit of the world; refuse its pleasure and honor and riches; count the contempt of God’s people and the reproach of Christ to be my treasure. I need to ask for the enlightening of the Holy Spirit to teach me what true conformity to Christ is, in the relation to the world, its culture, its possessions, its friendship. I must beware of judging what is lawful by any human standard; Christ alone must teach me what it means to forsake all, to sell all, to deny myself, and take up my cross and follow Him. I am to count all things loss in my desire to be conformed to Him: “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls, and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it. [Matt 13:45-46]
Friends, brothers and sisters…
There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell. You must be a born-again child of God. I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom. I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]
If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”
Grace greater than all my sin:
