Lord God Almighty…Who was there when You created the Earth and all that’s on it…all things visible and invisible, all things animate and inanimate, all things, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities? [Col 1:16; Job 38:6-39:30]

11th FAITH: ITS POWER OF ACHIEVEMENT

Trials: the school of faith

God has not promised faith that it will be freed from difficulty and danger.  It would be as easy for God to prevent the enemy from coming as to give the victory over him.  To do this, however, would be infinite loss.  Faith would never be called into exercise, and man would never learn to know either his God or himself as His child.  Without trial there would be no school of faith, no growth of spiritual character, no strength of will given up to God and clinging to Him.  Every trial accomplishes a double purpose: It gives me the opportunity of honoring God by the child-like trust with which I wait upon Him; it gives God the opportunity of showing how faithful He is in watching over His child, and how truly He is working for me and in me.  My soul clings to You, Lord; Your right hand upholds me.  Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing Love, for You are my Refuge and my Fortress…my God, in whom I trust! For have You not promised?…”I will never, never, leave you; I will never, ever, forsake you!  Assuredly not!”  O Lord, You are my Help; of whom shall I be afraid?  What can man do to me? [Ps 143:8; 91:2; Heb 13:5-6]

Self serving purposes render faith inoperative

Selfishness is the death of faith.  As long as I seek to be strong in faith for the sake of my own comfort and goodness, or the possession of power, I shall fail.  It is my soul that in its weakness gives itself up for the sake of God and others, that will find in that self-sacrifice the need and the right to claim God’s mighty help.  The attitude of my heart must always be: wholly surrendered unto God; wholly given for the blessing and salvation of souls.

Wholly surrendered, wholly given

I am to entirely cease from seeking faith for my own interests; I must lose myself in my work for God and for souls.  What room there is in this world for hero’s of faith to subdue kingdoms, to work righteousness, to obtain promises!  I am to wholly offer myself unto God for the struggle, remembering well the double lesson: No faith without difficulties for it to conquer; no difficulty but faith can surely conquer!

Friends, brothers and sisters…

There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell.  You must be a born-again child of God.  I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom.  I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]

If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”

I need Thee every hour:
