My beloved child…I made you for Myself, for you to live your life joined together with Me in a Sacred Covenant relationship. The deepest desire of My heart, and your highest privilege as My child, is for us to meet at a certain time every day at our designated trysting place, where we can be alone together just to commune and have intimate fellowship. [Father God…Mark 1:35; 6:46; Luke 4:42]
** **, greatly beloved, you need to trust in Me with an unwavering trust, depend upon Me with an unreserved child-like dependence, and set your to obey My will, and accept My will, with an unquestioning child-like obedience. There is no other way to enter into My promised rest and abide with Me there, where all is peaceful and calm, all is tranquil and unruffled. Questioning My commands and My will leads to rationalizing and disobedience. This is what the Scripture says: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as your ancestors did when they rebelled against God.” Who were the people who heard God’s voice and rebelled against Him? Were they not all those whom Moses led out of Egypt? With whom was God angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned in disobedience, whose bodies fell in the desert? When God made His solemn promise, “They will never enter the land where I would have given them rest“…of whom was He speaking? Of those who rebelled in disobedience. We see, then, that they were not able to enter the land, because of their disobedience resulting from unbelief. Therefore, My beloved child, make every effort to enter that rest, so that you will not fall by following their example of disobedience. [Heb 3:15-19; 4:11]
Have you considered My servant Saul’s disobedience? Samuel the prophet said to Saul, I am the one the Lord sent to anoint you king over His people Israel; so listen now to the message from the Lord. This is what the Lord Almighty says: I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.
Then Saul attacked the Amalekites all the way from Havilah to Shur, to the east of Egypt. He took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and all his people he totally destroyed with the sword. But Saul and the army spared Agag and the best of the sheep and cattle, the fat calves and lambs…everything that was good. These they were unwilling to destroy completely, but everything that was despised and weak they totally destroyed.
When Samuel reached him, Saul said, The Lord bless you! I have carried out the Lord’s instructions. But Samuel said, What then is this bleating of sheep in my ears? What is this lowing of cattle that I hear? Saul answered, The soldiers brought them from the Amalekites; they spared the best of the sheep and cattle to sacrifice to the Lord your God, but we totally destroyed the rest.
Stop!, Samuel said to Saul. Let me tell you what the Lord said to me last night. Tell me, Saul replied. Samuel said, Although you were once small in your own eyes, did you not become the head of the tribes of Israel? The Lord anointed you king over Israel. And He sent you on a mission, saying, Go and completely destroy those wicked people, the Amalekites; make war on them until you have wiped them out. Why did you not obey the Lord? Why did you swoop down upon the plunder and do evil in the eyes of the Lord? But I did obey the Lord, Saul said. I went on the mission the Lord assigned me. I completely destroyed the Amalekites and brought back Agag their king. The soldiers took sheep and cattle from the plunder, the best of what was devoted to God, in order to sacrifice them to the Lord your God at Gilgal. But Samuel replied: Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. For rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has rejected you as king. [1 Sam 15:1-3, 7-9, 13-23]
My beloved child…it is a great thing for your soul not only to wait upon God, but to be filled with such a conscious awareness of My Presence that your whole spirit and position is that of a waiting one…that you can, in child-like trust, say, “Lord! Thou knowest, I wait upon Thee!” If you draw nigh to God, it must be with a true heart. Your soul must know that it allows nothing sinful, nothing doubtful. If you are indeed to meet the Holy One, and receive My full blessing, it must be with a heart wholly, only, always, given up to My will. You cannot seek close fellowship with God, or attain the abiding consciousness of waiting upon Me all the day, without a very honest and entire surrender to all My will. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God; without holiness, no one will see the Lord. The whole spirit that animates you in your waiting must be, “Let integrity and uprightness…Thou seest that I desire so to come to Thee; Thou knowest I am looking to Thee to work godliness and honesty perfectly in me; let them…preserve me, for I wait upon Thee.” [Ps 25:21]
Abba Father…I take great delight in You! My soul rejoices in my God! For You have clothed me in garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness…as a bridegroom adorns his head with the priestly crown, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels! [Isa 61:10] Hallelujah!
Friends, brothers and sisters…
There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell. You must be a born-again child of God. I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom. I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]
If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”
My lips shall praise You:
