Abba Father…You are my God and my Father; I yearn for You with all my heart! Even as the deer, in the heat of summer, pants for water-brooks, so my soul thirsts for You! My soul thirsts for You, my body longs for You…as for streams of water in a dry sun-scorched land where there is no water! [Ps 42:1; 63:1]
NOAH: THE WORK OF FAITH
Prompted by faith Noah, being forewarned by God concerning events of which as yet there was no visible sign, took heed and diligently and reverently constructed and prepared an ark for the deliverance of his own family. By means of his faith which relied upon God, he passed judgment and sentence on the world’s unbelief and became an heir and possessor of righteousness which is according to faith. [Heb 11:7-8]
First Abel, then Enoch, then Noah
Abel: faith makes death the path to life. Enoch: faith conquers death and walks with God. Noah: faith saves others from death by the work it does for them. If with Abel you have drawn nigh to God in the death of Christ and in death to self…this is the root of the tree. If with Enoch you have given yourself to a walk with God, in His Presence and good pleasure, wholly surrendered unto God, wholly given for the blessing and the salvation of souls…this is the tree growing from the root. You are now called along with Noah to do the work of faith that can bless and save those around you…this is the fruit of the tree, produced by the work of the Holy Spirit dwelling within you.
Work of faith: the fruit of the tree
The work of faith saves others from death by bringing the blessings and salvation of God before the souls of men. We are called to this work of love: Wherefore brethren, having now boldness to enter into the Holiest by the Blood of Jesus, let us then draw nigh in fullness of faith; here let us continually abide in the fullness of faith. Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another…and all the more as you see the Day approaching. [Heb 10:19, 22 24-25]
By faith: Noah, being warned of God concerning things not seen as yet
If you would with Noah do the work of faith that can bless and save those around you, believe and act upon what God has said of the impending doom that is coming on the world. Father…in that glorious Coming Day, Your Divine Son Jesus will be coming back into this world once again…no longer as the Lamb of God, but this time as the Lion of Judah, arrayed in all of His Majesty and Glory and Power, to assume His role and to begin His reign on Earth as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. In that Day, every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all the peoples of the Earth will mourn because of Him. And all those upon the Earth who never knew Him…the rich as well as the poor; the kings and princes and rulers of this world, as well as their subjects and slaves; the famous and the well-known, as well as the unknown and the obscure; all these alike will run to the hills and to the mountains in abject terror, to hide in caves and to cry out for the rocks to fall upon them, just to hide them from the face of the Lamb and His terrible majesty. In that Day, Your Divine Son Jesus will manifest the fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God against all those upon the Earth who stand in rebellion against His Throne. And He will destroy all those upon the Earth who are enemies and usurpers of His rule and authority, until He has placed every one of His enemies under His feet. Then, in that Day, Your will, Father, will be done on Earth even as it is in Heaven.
Friends, brothers and sisters…
There is one absolutely necessary preparation for every living soul on the face of this Earth, for the soon coming and imminent return of Jesus Christ…the one preparation that will irrevocably determine in which neighborhood you will spend all eternity, whether in Heaven or in Hell. You must be a born-again child of God. I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot be in God’s Kingdom. I tell you the truth, no one can ever enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying you must be born again. [Jesus…John 3:3-7]
If you have never been born again,
or you are not sure whether you have been born again,
or you have been living your life as a lukewarm Christian and would now like to recommit your life and enter into a deep and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus in preparation for the soon coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
then I counsel you to get alone with God, read the solemn marriage vows you must make to become the bride of Christ and thereby be born-again, [https://preservechristianfamily.org/2019/01/21/bride-of-christ/], and with sincerity of heart from within the depths of your being, acknowledge before God, “I DO.”
He walks with me and He talks with me:
